Louis's POV

The entire movie is spent smiling at the girl under my arm. Harry and Rebecca are probably gossiping about us as we sit. The other boys have no clue what's going on. Liam glanced at me several times. I kept trying to watch the movie and lean in closer to Phoebe. Finally, she understood I was trying to get close to her and she rested her head on my chest. Sweet success. Sadly, by the time she does this, the credits roll and Ed's familiar voice sings. He's seated in the row in front of us, smiling happily. He didn't bring a date, it seems. He'll party with us later. Harry slaps him on the back and they start a conversation about something.

"I need to talk to you." I mouth to Liam and he nods quickly. Everyone leaves the theater in a crowd. I manage to lose Phoebe along the way. Harry seems to have lost Rebecca as well...oh there they are. They found their way to the open bar. Phoebe meets my eyes and walks over carrying several drinks.

"I had to go get the birthday girl her drinks." She tells me.

"You're not drinking?" I ask.

"No. I'm in charge of her." Phoebe says. Rebecca smiles happily at us.

"Can't hold her boos." Phoebe whispers making me laugh. She sits at the stool across from Rebecca.

"You can go hang out with your friends. I'll be here." Phoebe says.

"I'll be back soon." I tell her. I walk over to Liam and Sophia.

"Hey." He says. I sit down on the couch with them.

"So, what did you need to talk about earlier?" He asks.

"Do you think, do you think it's weird that I want to be with Phoebe? Is it too soon?" I ask.

"Not if you're ready. If you want to be with her, then do it. If this is about Eleanor-"

"No. I haven't been upset about that for a few weeks now. It's still sad because I lost someone close to me, but I realize now that she's not coming back. It doesn't bother me like it did." I say.

"Good. Well, if Phoebe does feel the same way, go for it." He says.

"What should I do now?" I ask. I look over at Phoebe laughing with Rebecca.

"You could take her out somewhere nice after this." I hear Sophia offer.

"We'd have to ditch you guys someway, including Rebecca." I explain.

"We can work that out with Harry." She says.

"She won't leave Rebecca. It's her birthday." I point out.

"So take her out tomorrow. We don't know Phoebe. I didn't even realize her and Rebecca were the girls Harry is always going off about." Liam says an I laugh.

"You think he likes Rebecca?" Sophia asks and I direct my attention to her.

"Honestly? No." I say and Liam looks baffled.

"Look at them!" He says. I turn and see the three laughing together. It seems Harry found them.

"I've talked about this with him. He just doesn't feel that way." I tell them.

"That makes sense Liam. I mean, it seems that way, but how many times has Harry been just friends with a girl? It happens a lot." Sophia says. At least she gets it.

"I guess you're right. So, how are you going to ask Phoebe out?" Liam asks.

"Well, she works tomorrow, so maybe I'll have to wait." I tell them.

"No! You should get nice food, maybe a candle or flowers, and a fold out table. You could show her that you couldn't wait!" Sophia says excitedly.

"Way too cheesy and lame." I tease her and she frowns.

"I'll think of something to do this week with her." I tell them.

"Well do it soon, before she's snatched up by someone." Liam says making me chuckle. I stand up and walk back to Phoebe. Rebecca is cracking up about something.

"Having fun?" I whisper in Phoebe's ear. She jumps and I laugh.

"Yes until you scared me!" She says.

"Hey Louis!" Rebecca shouts even though it's not that loud.

"Hey!" I shout back.

"Don't need to yell." She jokes. Phoebe laughs so my vision naturally clicks over to her.

"So, when are you guys going to just go somewhere together?" Harry teases. I roll my eyes.

"Not sure." Phoebe answers. Okay, she must be drunk because she's never considered this an option.

"Great song!" Phoebe says suddenly and I become confused. Then I see the familiar ginger walk up laughing.

"Hey I haven't seen you in forever and thanks!" Ed tells Phoebe. They know one another? She pops off the stool and hugs Ed.

"You know each other?" I ask.

"Yeah! Ed and Harry hang out all the time. It's been a few months." She says just leaving the hug.

"Sorry! I've been putting the album together. You two will love it." Ed tells the girls. Rebecca smiles brightly at him.

"Can't wait to hear it, mate." Harry tells him. I see Perrie approaching and she grabs Phoebe's hand.

"How about your dance lesson?" She asks Phoebe. The girl's eyes widen before she nods.

"Keep an eye on Rebecca!" She shouts as she trots away.

*

Hilarious. She looks hilarious. Phoebe, and all the other girls, have been with Perrie for over an hour. Even Rebecca is trying to keep up. I'm sitting at the table watching Phoebe laugh at herself. She's having so much fun. She's tried to call me over several times, but I refuse. My limit is hit, though, when she strolls over, takes my hand, and pulls me into our own area.

"You have to have some dance moves Louis!" She says. I roll my eyes.

"Just move your butt or something! I know you have one." She jokes.

"Now that you say that, never." I say and let go of her hands.

"I bet Harry will dance with me. Hey Harry-" but I cover her mouth with my hand. I feel her smile and my eyebrows furrow.

"Now, I will dance with you later when pictures aren't being taken." I tell her.

"I don't believe you. I wanted to dance here, where I felt nice in my dress and you look so nice in your shirt. Your hair looks nice too-I'm babbling sorry." She blushes and laughs at herself.

"No, I was enjoying it." I joke earning a slap in the arm. This was going to be a fun night.
