Phoebe's POV

Louis was walking me out of the place after we finished eating. I can't believe he had convinced me to go home. I mean I don't mind seeing Thomas. I miss him so much. I just don't know how my parents will react when they see me. Last time they saw me, I said I was moving to London and they told me I had to pay for Uni myself. Dean was wonderful for me when I first came here, a screwed up teenager just getting out of high school.

He took my hand and pulled me away from the car quickly, leaving me to laugh stupidly. I followed him to wherever we were going, around a corner before he halted. It was a tea shop.

"Want to go in?" He asked. Without my answer, he starts to pull me through the door.

"Hello! We have samples around the shop and kettles in the back." Some guy says.

"Thanks!" Louis says and takes me down a row. They have little pots set up full of tea and Louis pours a small cup.

"Why did you-"

"I wanted some tea and remembered this place. Here." He hands me the cup and I take a sip.

"But why?" I ask with a laugh.

"Cause your breath smelled like Chinese food." He says bluntly and I laugh.

"And why does that matter?" I ask him. I toss the cup in the trash and continue walking down the row. I pour myself some earl gray tea. Louis follows me and takes the cup away from my hand.

"What?" I ask. He's smiling at me and I don't know what to do. His hand flicks the cup in the trash.

"Hey, I was going to drink that." I say and he laughs.

"Well, your mouth is a bit busy." He says making me blush at his flirty comment.

"Oh it is-" I start to say but I get cut off by Louis's lips on mine. His body moves closer to mine, his hand finding my hip. My arms go around his back as I continue the kiss.

"Hey! Buy something or get out!" The guy at the front desk yells making me jump away from the kiss.

"We'll take your finest pot sir!" Louis shouts. I bite back my laugh.

"Uh yes, well there are many nice kettles in back." The guy says. I stand there speechless. Louis turns to smile a me, pecking my lips.

"We better run, I'm not buying a kettle." Louis says. He runs away from me, leaving the store. My mouth gapes open as the owner comes out with a metal pot.

"Oh, right." I say awkwardly.

"Bye." I say quickly and run.

"Hey! Get back here!" The guy yells. I leave the store and tear down the street after Louis.

"You dick!" I shout. I slow down when the pain starts to come and Louis turns to face me.

"C'mon slowpoke." He says. I catch up with him and feel our hands meet.

"I'll take you back now." He says. We head back to PF Chang's parking lot and he helps me into my seat.

"Okay first date?" He asks.

"It sucked." I tell him. He looks out the window and shakes his head.

"Kidding. It was the best date I've ever been on, honestly." I tell him. He smiles at me before driving on.

"I'm going home." I tell Rebecca. She's eating soup on the couch and drops the spoon.

"What?" She asks.

"Yeah, I know." I say.

"Wait, you're leaving me?" She asks.

"No! Just to see Thomas. We've talked about it before and Louis was saying how I should surprise him and pick him up at school on the day he gets out for winter break." I explain.

"That's brilliant!" She says. I smile.

"I know, I just don't know what my parents will say. I'm guessing they'll be in the same place. He should still be in the same high school." I say.

"I'm so proud of you." Rebecca says, getting up to hug me.

"I'm nervous. It's two weeks to come up with something to say to my parents." I say.

"You'll think of it, and I'm sure Dean will let you leave. How will you get a car to pick Thomas up?" Rebecca asks.

"Oh, I didn't think of that. Well, I guess I could forget the train and drive. A rental seems pointless." I say.

"Well, what if you took the car? I can find a way to work. It would just be one day. I can steal Harry's car." She says.

"How long would the drive be?" I ask myself.

"I'll check on the laptop." Rebecca says and pulls it out from under the couch.

"Just under two hours." She answers.

"Ah, not too bad. Plus I could get him something, what should I get? I don't know what games he may have or what he likes. He used to skateboard all of the time, but-"

"Don't worry Phoebe. He'd love what you choose to get him." Rebecca says.

"I hope so, I mean, I can't wait to see Thomas. I miss him so much. I don't know how my parents will react." I say.

"They miss you, I'm sure." Rebecca says.

"I sure hope so, or this is going to be pretty awkward." I say and she laughs, but I'm deadly serious. I don't know what I'm going to do if they don't want to see me.
