Phoebe's POV

Was I excited right now, or what? Louis was helping me get my luggage into the car and we were heading to the airport. Harry was in New York already. He's been their all week having fun. Who can blame him? I just wanted to get there already. I've never been to New York before. I only stopped at the airport on the way to get to Louis a few times. This would be my first time in the Times Square. I wasn't ready, but at the same time I really was.

"Bee, I can't wait for you to see the city, you'll love it." Louis says. I just smile at him and watch the town go by. We had a long flight ahead and I was enjoying the simple car ride now.

"It's going to be a madhouse. I can't wait." I tell him and he laughs. I've grown accustomed to crowds of people going mad. The hustle and bustle of fans hasn't really gotten to me. I just try to be nice to them. More than a few times girls have called me a fake, but I ignore them. I know my Louis and he certainly isn't gay for Harry. I know he loves me and they may believe whatever they want. They aren't the girl sleeping next to him at night or goofing around work with him. Lucky enough, that's me and I will always love him for being that way, my goofy and sweet Louis.

"If we lose each other we search for another member of our group, you know how it goes. I don't want you to disappear before midnight. Rebecca is still meeting us at the airport right? I know she wanted to double check the sub plans, but she'll be early still, right? Don't want her missing the flight." He says worriedly.

"She'll be fine Louis. She told me she's going to be there before us even." I tell him. He nods quickly and proceeds turning the car down the road to the airport. We're about ten minutes away now. I feel a hand reach my thigh and smile to myself.

"Only a few minutes now. Is, uh, is Ed coming?" Louis asks. Once again, Ed and Rebecca were on the outs. They weren't talking or anything, making the trip a bit challenging. If he didn't go, the pact would be a bit broken.

"I haven't heard from him." I tell him and he nods. I take out my phone and ring him. He answers.

"Phoebe, hey!" He says excitedly.

"Are you coming?" I ask. I feel bad for Rebecca if he does and they end up fighting. Her New Years will be a bit of a mess. Its supposed to be fun for all of us.

"I'm already here with Harry and his new friend!" Ed announces. Harry's so called 'new friend' wasn't really that new. It seems Ed just hasn't met her yet. I mean it makes sense, he was on your and all. That's what sparked the new fight between him and Rebecca. He wouldn't answer her calls and it's partially because he has a girlfriend now. She's no longer interested in being with him romantically, but he won't accept her friendship. He thinks she just wants to be with him.

"Alright. We are almost I the airport now. Rebecca is already there, so we are gonna meet her and be on our way soon." I tell him. I don't know if he thought she was coming or not.

"That's great. We can work something out, I'm sure. I'll just hang out with Olivia." He says.

"Olivia?" I ask. I hear someone in the back laughing before he speaks up again.

"Yeah, that's my girlfriend. Is Becca the only single one here?" He asks and I sigh. She's not going to be happy. Louis told her Ed and Olivia broke up, but that obviously wasn't the case.

"Yeah, but she's excited to be there. I guess we'll see you soon." I tell him. He proceeds to tell me something along the lines of seeing me soon, but the connections a little off and I hang up the phone.

"He brought Olivia." I tell Louis. He has a guilty look on his face, and I calm myself down. I don't need a fight, not when things are going well.

"They had broken up, I just didn't know they got back together. She's going to murder me." He blurts and I nod.

"It's. It's okay Louis. I'm sure she'll try and get along with Olivia. Let's just relax and tell her when it's alright. She seems to be in a bit of a tizzy already today." I tell him and he nods. We've gotten better at talking. That time we broke up, we had pretty poor skills, but now we seemed to keep each other calmer. Sure we had spats, but who doesn't?

"I'm sorry." He says and I nod. I wasn't super happy that this Olivia girl was going, but what's done is done. I can tell he feels bad. This may be enough for her not to go, but I hope it won't be. I want her there in New York, whether Ed is her friend or enemy for the trip. I know she'll have fun. She'll be with me, and the guys.

*

Rebecca did come to New York still, and the moment we were getting ready for the big moment. We were ringing in 2015 and it's insane. My hopes for this year have to be the same as every other year. I want to have a good year. 2013 ended with me reconnecting with my parents, and getting closer to them in 2014. I found a nice guy who's actually in love with me, I've had more fun than I've ever had with him and the people around me, and I've become a better me. I'm happy where I am, so screw some resolution about dieting or about some stupid workout. My resolution for 2015 is to stay happy, no matter what changes may come. That's the beauty of a new year, the choices are all yours.
