Phoebe's POV

A movie premiere. I'm going to a movie premier. No big deal. I try to calm my nerves as I get dressed. The fact that I was going with Louis and the event itself made me nervous. I go to my closet and take out the navy short dress in my closet. The dress flowed out beautifully right above my knee. The top was cream with blue lace and mid-length sleeves going down my arms. I took out the black tights next. Then, it was time to get dressed. My mind was in a hurry as I got everything on. Lastly, I picked up the bee bracelet and put it on my wrist. The mirror in front of me revealed I didn't look bad. It was nice to see myself out of jeans and a Dean's store polo. I leave my room and see Rebecca strutting around in her dress. Her dress was deep red. It cut away at her lower back. She had just finished her curling her blonde hair. I was surprised she was done so quickly after doing mine. My normal waves were tamed. She had pinned my hair up and curled some ends. It looked better than expected.

"You look amazing!" I tell her excitedly and she whips around.

"You look like a princess!" She tells me and I laugh.

"Go get your prince across the hall. He's going to drool when he sees you, you know?" She asks and I frown. Her and Harry have been dropping some not so subtle hints about Louis feelings toward me and I still didn't know how I felt about it.

"Stop, not tonight. It's your birthday, so we are going to have a ton of fun. It's not centered around boys." I tell her. I just couldn't see that boy honestly interested in me. It's just that he makes me nervous when I think about him and that other girl. He was upset with the world and I don't want to lead him on if it's not what I want. I don't want him to be upset with me.

"Whatever, let's go get the guys!" She says. Her excitement gets the best of her as she rushes out the door. I hope she doesn't forget she has to go to work tomorrow. Maybe I can call her out. I owe her for the day I missed at Dean's. I lock our door on the way out. She barges through the boys' place seconds later while I follow slowly behind.

"You look lovely." I here Harry tell her.

"I love this dress! Thank you guys so much." She beams. I enter and Louis turns quickly. His mouth opens slightly and I blush. Oh my god would my cheeks quit it already! I smile at him.

"Phoebe, you look amazing." He says and I laugh.

"Thanks." I say. I notice he got a navy dress shirt to match me. Harry did the same in red for Rebecca. I meet Louis's eyes and see he's cleaned up a bit. It's funny, but the first thing I think of is that he reminds me of some type of fairy tale prince and that Rebecca's earlier statement came true. Weird. He smiles brightly at me. He looks handsome. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Louis looks really attractive. I mean, I'm used to sweats and Louis who wears Tom's, not Louis in a suit and tie.

"Well, let's not stare at one another forever. There's a car outside." Harry says and I blink my attention over to him.

"Yeah. So, who are we meeting?" I ask.

"Niall, Barbara, Liam, Sophia, Zayn, and Perrie." Harry answers.

"I'm not going to be able to put names to faces until I see them." I say.

"Don't worry, you'll figure it out. No one will use it against you." Louis says and I nod.

"I'll make sure no one switches names on you guys." Harry says.

"I'm a teacher, so I'm good with names and faces." Rebecca says happily. She's so giddy tonight, it's hilarious.

"Well, we have to head out. Let's get over to Liam's place. Everyone else is there." Harry says.

"Wait I thought you said we just had a car. How are we all going to fit in a car, Harry?" Rebecca asks.

"Well, we kind of have a limo." Harry says. I look over and see her grinning brightly.

"I love limos! I used to ride in them all the time when I went to weddings. Do we have a bar in it?" She asks and I laugh.

"Easy girl." I say.

"No, we'll be drinking after the carpet and movie." Harry says.

"Alright, I'll be good." She says. We get outside and I gape at the limo.

"I've never ridden in one before." I say after I notice Louis stare at me funny.

"Well, c'mon." He says. I feel his hand against my back. My cheeks heat yet again and I groan internally. Why me?

*

"And then he nearly lit himself on fire! I had to save him." Zayn says and I crack up. They were telling me about how Harry's head gets insanely hot when he's performing, so he always keeps a towel handy. This towel, however kept him from seeing the flames flying upward, about to hit him, and Zayn came to the rescue.

"Happens to the best of us." Liam says.

"I'll never live that down, will I? How about we move on?" Harry asks.

"Never. I saved your hair that day and you can never forget it." Zayn says. His fiancé smiles at him and I now realize who she is.

"Say, you're in little mix, right? You sing Move?" I ask and she nods.

"I hear it in the book store all the time. It's on the radio. I dance to it when no one is in." I admit and she laughs.

"Wonderful. It's fun, huh?" She asks and I nod.

"Too bad I'm an awful dancer." I say.

"I'll help you tonight at the after party. That is, if Louis doesn't mind me taking his girlfriend away." She says. I can tell that everyone was wondering if we were together and that neither Harry nor Louis had mentioned it.

"I'd only be so lucky." Louis mumbles and my eyes blink over to meet his.

"Huh?" Liam asks. Louis opens his mouth, but I stop him.

"We're working on it." I say and they all seem to smile. No one smiles wider than Harry. I look to see Louis's mouth is dropped open. I laugh lightly and shut it with my hand.

"Well, that's news!" The blonde boy says. Niall, I believe his name was. I'm not sure what made me tell them that. In fact, I can't believe I played it off so well. I guess it was what Louis said just before he was going to tell them we weren't together. Before anyone says anything else, the limo stops. We're here. There are people yelling outside. I'm the last person out of the limo, Louis taking my hand to help me out.

"Wow." I mutter at the intensity.

"Just smile and stick with me." Louis says. His hand meets my back yet again while we walk up the red carpet.

"So, what I said back there-"

"You didn't mean it. It's fine." He says. He keeps the smile, but his eyes flicker sadness.

"No, let me finish. I meant what I said. We are kind of working on it." I tell him. His mood changes immediately. He looks like an excited little kid on Christmas.

"Really?" He asks. I nod, making him smile wider. I laugh at his mood.

"I would give you a giant hug right now if it wasn't going to be frowned upon. I mean the paps would love it, but the bosses would not." He says and I nod.

"Save the hugs for later." I tease him. He laughs and I notice his nose crinkle. That's something I haven't noticed before. I smile at him. Before I know it, we're inside the theater, sitting next to Rebecca. She's telling me about how she met Orlando Bloom and nearly died on the spot. She loves the guy. I'm sure he was a bit freaked out. At least Harry was there to prove she wasn't some security breach. She met a few other people and I honestly tuned her out as she fangirled in her seat. I was happy when the movie finally cued that it was starting. I leaned back and felt Louis's arm around me. I jump forward slightly just because it scared me, and give him the wrong idea.

"Sorry." He says and starts to move it. I grab it with my hand, moving it back into place.

"It's okay." I tell him and lean a bit closer to him. He smiles at me, then I focus back on the movie opening. I guess you can consider this snuggling, maybe a little bit like that.
