Before I fall (ironhide l.s)

Chapter 11

I don't know how but time seemed to fade away, I let it slip now all I can say is I can't look back, I'm too far gone to look back now, I grabbed the rope that led me to this weird place where they kidnapped ironhide. This was all so strange, but I didn't care, I needed to find ironhide, I ran as fast as I could but it wasn't fast enough, I saw the mysterious building and I ran up to the door, I can do this, I can do this, "for ironhide" I mumbled to myself. I busted the door open with one powerful kick. I ran in and saw the blue energon, blood, everywhere. It was splattered against the wall, soaks into the concrete floor, even some on the roof, I ran into a room where i heard a piercing painful scream, I saw ironhide, laying on the floor, dead. I spun around but only to be stabbed through my own spark.

I shot up panting and holding my chest, to regain air. Ironhide and I were still in the same place we were last night. By the waterfall. The sound of the water filling my soul making me sleepy again, but I wasn't going back to sleep and I know that for a fact. That dream, it was so, so, so realistic. It was as if I actually got stabbed, as if ironhide actually died. It all seemed so real. I couldn't hold back the tears as I thought about loosing ironhide. I tried to remain quite but I couldn't, and that's when ironhide woke up. He looked at me and grabbed my hand pulling me in towards his muscular holoform chest. I started crying harder, when I heard ironhide say

"How bad was your dream? Cause mine was almost as if it were real." He looked a little distant when I looked up at him but I sighed and my tears and breaths came slower now, and he looked back down at me and squeezed me tight, I could feel the beating of his artificial heart through his chest, it was beating rapidly, at an almost scary pace. I grabbed his other hand and squeezed it and began telling him my dream.

"N-no" he stuttered.

"Yes, that was my dream. Why?" I asked a little confused

"Because I had the same dream except I watched you die as I was laying on the ground dying." He said, shaking his head a little.

"Yea, but in my dream you were already dead... I think. It was too dark I couldn't really tell, but it seemed, it seemed so real, like I was actually there." I spoke quietly. He nodded and we listened to the sound of the crickets and the waterfall, running down before he pulled me back down, and I fell into a helpless sleep.

Ironhides pov

When the sun came up I opened my eyes, I heard the birds chirping, the water running, and the sun was just beginning to peak through the clouds and trees that surrounded us at ever angle. I looked down at my chest to see Alexis asleep. Last night was really hard on her, the dream we both had was so real, almost as if it was actually going to happen. I shook the thought as  she stirred in her sleep. She smiled through her dream and I was hoping she was happy. She seemed to shiver a little, so I leaned up slightly, unwrapping my arms from around her momentarily to pull off my leather jacket. I gently placed it around her shoulders and laid back down, I only had a leather jacket on then because when we dried off for the water fight we were extremely cold, so I took off my black tank top and let her wear it so she didn't have to stay in her wet dress, then she got hot so she took off the jacket she had on and threw it somewhere, so she was now wearing both of my shirts, I still had my leather jeans on and she well she had leggings on, from under her dress from before, but I was shirtless. She stirred again and breathed in a happy gasp, I wonder what she was dreaming about, hmm, I'll have to ask her when she wakes up. I let my mind wander to different things but eventually I caught myself thinking, what if I propose to her...

Cliffhanger... Lol but hey guys surprise surprise!! So I know I said I might not be updating but I decided what if I posted a happy chapter, instead of nothing, now there was a little hinting of things that are going to happen later in this book but for now I'm gonna work on another chapter so I'll leave it at that, sorry it was short, but writings the dream really made me tear up, so... And then just starting to write even the happy parts I teared up, but oh well I have to get over it eventually right?
