chapter 17: talking to the moon

Alexis's pov
Ironhide ran forward, charging at Mirage. Even my dads calls to get him to stop where not working. He hit Mirage dead in the nose and he stumbled back as Ironhide went to charge again.
"Hide if you love me you will stop. Right now" i shouted and he jolted to an abrupt stop next to jolt. Woah see how that worked out...XD (sorry im weird) He turned around slowly but stayed looking at Mirage who was holding his bleeding holoforms nose.
"If she wouldnt have said anything i would have finished you." he said angrily to him as he walked back over to me.
"Anyway no, im not expecting chicken nuggets, instead i am expecting a...sparkling." i said looking up at hide as the bots all did some sort if happy dance. I laughed as the end result turned out to be the greatest. I look back on my life before ironhide and i even knew i liked him, before i knew he liked me, i cant even imagine it now, he is my everything. I look around at everyone and thank the people who come up and congratulate us. But all highs have to come down right?

"BOOM!"
"What was that?!" i asked looking at Ironhide and laying my arms on my stomach, Ratchet, who i didn't see walk out, ran in,
"The base is under attack, desepticons are in the med bay!" he shouted and everyone sprang into action. Ironhide grabbed my hand and ran forward,
"You have to go, get out of he-" hide said stopping at the hallway. I slapped him.
"Im going with you, ain't sh*t you can do about it!" i shouted as he smirked at my fiesty side and ran forward after kissing my forehead. Why, oh why does everything have to happen on the good days? I ran forward but stopped when i heard a pained grunt to my left, i saw mirage, or what was left of him. My hand flew to my mouth. No! We cant loose mirage, we cant loose anyone. I realized that they must want something...but what? After a long time with little decepticon activity what could they want. Then it clicked...Me.

Starscreams pov
I saw the human femme megatron wanted and i ran to grab her, i picked her up and transformed and flew away,
"Decepticons return to base." i instructed as the human femme barley even moved.

Ironhides pov
You know that split second where something happens and your heart stops? Me too. Where is she? Im loosing my mind! Im going crazy! I have already destroyed the base even further looking for her. I growled and punched a wall. I look up to see starscream flying away, Alexis in his jet's seat. I will find you starscream And when i do, you wont be dealing with Ironhide, you will be dealing with the very aggressive fiancé of the one you kidnapped.

Alexis's pov
It was dark. It was cold. It was wet. The cell starscream threw me in was painfully creepy. My eyes hurt trying to see anything. Love, my love, life, my life, everything, my everything. Its all on the line. Its like im on the battlefield but im in the war and i cant fight it. Im surrounded by guns and i only have a knife. Im a gonner. I looked out the tiny window that casted only the faintest of light from the moon.i stared straight at it wondering if Hide was doing the same.

Optimus primes pov
He took my daughter, he took my almost son-in-laws fiancé. I could almost feel her next to me again, as a baby, a small sparkling, the tinniest of being's. She was my everything and he took that all away from me.

1 week later

Ironhides pov
Were so close i can almost smell her, her beautiful, warm perfume, that im blessed enough to get to wake up and smell. This week has been way too painful. I miss being able to wake up next to alexis, i missed kissing her lips and calling her beautiful. I would talk to the moon every night hopeing she was doing the same, i know she is out there...it pains me that i knows shes still alive but not with me. I growled revving my engine and flying faster than ever before. I had no idea what to do, there's no plan, i dont need a plan. I will just go in and shoot until i get Alexis back.

Running in, guns blazing, i felt free, i felt like i am finally able to be me. I just ran around shooting until i got to a locked room.

Alexis's pov
I heard loud bangs, many of them. They were here. They have finally came to rescue me. This past week drained me, it was excruciatingly painful to be away from everyone im around every single day. My stomach got bigger, but they were going to kill the baby today. Now its only a matter of time to see who gets to me first, Autobots or Decepticons.

Ironhides pov.
I blew down the door. Cuts, bruises, smeared makeup as she lays in the wake of the decepticons destruction. I ran over to her, my Bi-pedal mode picking her up.
"H-hide," she choked out.
"Shhh...hush baby speak softly."
"I love you" she said as she stared up at me, her beautiful soft blue eyes bore into mine, as the thought of loosing her again played in my mind and thats what made me fight harder. I pushed myself to my breaking point and even farther and we finally got out, alive.

Sideswipes pov (weird...)
There comes a time in every man or bots life where we all just eventually need to cry, and when ironhide walked into base with a breathing Alexis in his cervos, that time was now. I watched as even my brother sunny leaked a few energon tears. I strut over to them and my eyes filled with energon as i stared down at her miserable pain strucken face. I watched Boss Bot touch both of hides shoulders.
"What you did was reckless... thank you" he said patting his shoulders and directing Ironhide to the new med bay because the last one was destroyed.

Optimus primes pov
It was a great feeling to know that my daughter, my whole world was finally back, and alive.
