Chapter 34

Third pov
Eventually they headed back to base. They put the twins to bed and then Ironhide and Alexis got dressed in lazy clothes consisting of pajamas. Alexis walked to the living room area and sat on the couch. She sighed.
"Hey Alex" Ironhide said sitting next to her. She smiled. It had been forever since he had called her that. She remembered the first time he did just like it was yesterday.

Flashback

"Good morning Alex" Ironhide said i cocked my head and frowned.
"why did you call me Alex?" He shrugged
"It's a cute nickname for you" i shrugged now and then smiled.

End of flashback

Alexis's pov
Right after Ironhide had called me Alex for the first time we had our first kiss. It was sweet and gentle, and now I missed the feeling of his warm lips on mine, the taste that always lingered for a while afterwords.

Flashback

Ironhide and I walked out but he grabbed my arm and stopped me.

" 'hide what are you-" I was cut off when a pair of warm lips met mine... I was shocked. But I kissed back. When 'hide and I broke apart he had a huge blush on his face, he also looked very happy. I smiled

End of flashback

I smiled to myself as Ironhide gently laid a hand on my thigh. I laid my head on his shoulder. Love isn't a game, a game where we have to run and hide, a game where you could only ever guess the next question but never know the answer. Love is freedom, a sweet feeling that makes your fingers tingle, your mouth hurt from smiling so widely, love is eating a whole pizza by yourself and not being ashamed, love is going to the bathroom while the other showers, love is leaving the toilet seat up, love is using all the hot water in a shower and making the other use cold, love is a gentle feeling that racks your whole body at first, love is love, and there is no changing love. I smiled up at 'hide as he turned the TV on.
"What do you want to watch?" He asked.
"Criminal minds or supernatural?" I asked smiling widely at the TV now.
"You mean I can watch Sam and Dean, like on TV? Like without Having to have a specific date to watch it?" Ironhide asked.
"Yep it's this thing called Netflix, here hand me the remote."

Two bowls of popcorn, one phone call and one whole season of supernatural later.

"Grahwaaaaaaaaaaa" Cameron cried and it was heard through the baby monitor. I went to get up but Ironhide was too quick for me.
"Uh no" he said rushing to go get the wailing child. I laid down and closed my eyes for a minute.

Ironhides pov.
After watching a whole season of supernatural Cameron started crying. Alexis went to get up but I wouldn't let her so I ran to go get Cameron and when I came back I saw her sleeping on the couch. She looked so peaceful, everything is perfect, i stood with Cameron in my arms. I rocked back and forth with him until he eventually fell back to sleep. After a while I put him back in his crib and carried Alexis to bed. I set her down softly on the right side of the bed, also known as, "her side of the bed." I laid down on my side and gently covered her up. I laid there waiting patiently for Lyndsey to wake up since I knew she would soon.

Two bottles, three diaper changes, and seven thrown pacifiers later,

I was finally alone with Alexis. Peace and quiet engulfed me as darkness took over and sleep overpowered me.

Optimus prime~
There are some things you want to change, others you want to leave alone. But even through all the tears and struggles there are still smiles, smiles of the ones who are strong, strong enough to hold there own head up high, be that person. be strong even when you think you can't, believe in yourself.

Ratchets pov
I stared at the screen in front of me decoding deception signals. I groaned.
"Hey Ratchet" Maddies voice lit up my whole room.
"Hello Maddison, how has your day been going?" I asked casually, not letting my emotions get the better of me.
"Good. And you?" She spoke, her voice so heavenly even the angels were jealous.
"Wonderful thank you"
"You are always welcome" and that's how my day progressed.

It's kind of Chill laid back chapter but it's the weekend, at 12:35 In the morning...I'm tired. Goodnight! Hope you enjoy this sucky chapter!! Bye lovelies❤️
