Chapter 42

Jade's POV

After Althea dropped me here at the company, i hurriedly went to my office.. so much paper works to do and we have this important meeting from our major investors..After two years of working at home alone, no paper works, no meetings, just sitting in front of my laptop and checking into emails and here i am back to reality.. i mean it's been weeks since i decided to become the CEO "again" which my mom is always nagging me about, cause she just can't handle backbreaker clients anymore which i also agree..

I am here, sitting on my swivel chair,  in front of this wide screen mac desktop, checking some important files for our meeting today.. massaging my temples.. haayyy..

"maam, andito na po sila Mr. Ramos.."  sabi ni kylie..

"okay i'll follow then.." sagot ko naman sknya.. kaya ko to.. go jade..

so i went outside and proceed to our conference room..

our meeting took three hours for Christ sake! that was... ugghhh! this gives me delimma.. gosh!  i went back to my office and sat to my chair.. and again massaging my temples.. i am trying to call althea, but no answer at all.. where the hell is she?

i just took my lunch inside my office, i don't have this mood of going outside.. i just feel uncomfortable now..

1pm and still no sign of althea.. wow..as in wow.. so i just decided to continue my work..

"pasok.."  

"maam, my bisita po kayo.." sabi ni kylie..the way she look at me, parang sinasabi niya na bad visitor ito.. hmmm...

"papasukin mo kylie.."  sabi ko kaya maya maya pa, i saw the door opening.. and saw that person i don't want to see in my existence now..

"jade.."  tanging sabi niya..

"what the hell are you doing here?!"

"jade, i am not here to make any scene.. i am here cause i want to talk to you.." mahinahon niyang sabi..

pinakalma ko ang sarili ko.. i just took a deep breath at nagsalita..

"okay.. sit.." sabi ko sknya kaya umupo naman siya sa couch..

sa totoo lng hindi ko alam kung ano ang mararamdman ko sa tagpong ito.. honestly i was shocked seeing this person in front of me now.. but i can see in her eyes that she's sincere..

"now solenn, what do you want to talk about?"

"being inside the jail for 6 months jade is not a joke.."  hindi ko siya pinatapos kasi nag salita ako..

"and being disabled for two fucking years solenn is also not a joke!"  mejo napataas yung boses ko.. kaya yumuko lng siya..

"i am sorry jade.. i am really sorry.. i regret everything that i've done.. sana mapatawad mo ako.."  sabi niya habang umiiyak..

i don't know.. hindi ko alam kung kaya ko na ba siyang patawarin.. she just took away my happiness with just one pooofff.. two years being disabled and two years na wala si althea sa tabi ko dahil sa kagagahan ng babaeng ito..
