"Truth or Dare?" Felix asked. Him, Jack, Bob and Wade stood in a circle at the park. They decided to meet here after classes ended and we're still waiting on two more members of their group, Ken and Cry. The group consisted of juniors and seniors in college, the younger of the lot being Jack, Felix and Cry. After everyone arrived, they were going to head to a local arcade before spending the night at Felix's place.
"Dare." Bob replied.
"Give Wade an Eskimo kiss." Felix smirked.
"Felix..." Bob whined.
"At least it's not an actual one." Jack stated.
"Fine." Bob grumbled before going over to Wade. He did it and Wade pulled away laughing.
"See it wasn't that bad." Felix giggled.
"Ok, Felix." Jack challenged. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare, I'm not chicken." He said.
"Ok Mr. Not A Chicken, why don't you go out to the middle of the park and sing 'Let it go' at the top of your lungs." Jack snickered.
Felix's eyes widened. "All of it?" He questioned.
"Yep, you can look up the lyrics on your phone if you need. Now go, before I make you sing 'Love is an open door' as well." Jack responded, giving him a gentle shove.
Felix slowly walked out into the middle of the park and, giving his friends one last look over his shoulder, he took a breath.
"THERE IS NO SNOW ON THE MOUNTAIN TONIGHT!!" He began yelling.
Wade almost died of laughter right then and there. Next thing you know, Ken and Cry arrived, Cry quite confused on what his boyfriend was doing. They explained their little game and Felix's dare, Cry and Ken joining in laughter like everyone else. Finally Felix finished and Wade was laying on the ground, laughing his heart out. Bob had taken a seat on a nearby bench while Jack and Cry were using Ken as support as they all laughed. Felix crossed his arms, surveying the group, only to have his face flush red upon spotting Cry.
"Hmph." Felix complained, crossing his arms.
"Sorry Fe." Cry apologized, throwing his arms around Felix's neck. "But that was hilarious." He giggled into Felix's ear. Felix growled slightly.
A couple more rounds went by, Wade choosing truth and having to admit he was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Molly. Ken, choosing dare, had to go up to a random person and growl like a bear, though if anyone asked he had to deny it. Cry, having also chosen dare, had to do a backflip, which he did flawlessly, impressing the group.
Jack, however, had gotten distracted by a golden flash that passed him by. As he continued to watch, that golden flash turned out to be a golden retriever. It walked back to it's owner, holding a bright green tennis ball in it's mouth. Jack saw her drop the ball at her owner's feet. Her owner smiled and petted her, his red hair getting partially in his face. He would've of stared at the man longer, thinking to himself how attractive he was, but Felix jerked him out of his thoughts.
"Whatcha looking at Jack?" He asked, before following his gaze towards the red haired man. "Oh, hey guys." Felix motioned towards to figure and giving a quiet wolf whistle. "Jack's got his eye on some hot stuff." They chuckled, and Cry nudged his boyfriend harshly. Felix smiled and leaned over, kissing his boyfriend's hair. This seemed to satisfy him and they turned back to the situation at hand.
"Oh, guys.." Jack said, his face turning slightly red. "It's uh.." He was cut off by the laughter of his friends. While all the seniors significant others were female, they didn't seem to mind that their friends didn't quite swing that way. Felix and Cry were both gay, and though Jack was bi everyone knew he preferred guys.
"Truth or Dare, Jack?" Cry asked.
"Um.. Truth?" He said, knowing either way wouldn't end well for him.
"Do you think that guy over there is attractive?" Cry questioned. Felix giggled as Jack stared down at his feet, his face blushing red.
"Yes." He admitted shyly.
"Truth or dare?" Felix asked Jack.
"Twice in a row?" Jack protested.
"Truth or dare, Jack. You gotta choose one." Bob said. Wade snickered and Ken crossed his arms, waiting to see what he would chose.
"Uh.. Dare?" Jack said warily.
"That's what I was hoping for." Felix grinned evilly.
Jack's eyes widened. "Uh, I mean, um Truth."
"To late Jackaboy." Wade smirked. They all looked at Felix expectantly.
"You have to go up to him and give him a hug, claiming it's for science." Felix rubbed his hands together and Jack's face flushed red.
"I hate you guys." Jack mumbled, brushing some of his green hair out of his face.
But, off he went, up to the red haired man. He wrapped his arms around the older man, probably a senior in college if he had to guess. The man lifted his arms up in surprise, before slowly wrapping them around this random blue eyed stranger. Jack let go, stepping back a bit and looking up into the red haired man's brown eyes. They stared down at him curiously to which Jack responded. "It's for science." With that, he walked back to his group of friends and lightly punched Felix on the arm.
Another couple of rounds went by, Jack claiming that everyone should go once more since he did two. Wade had to go around asking people for money, seeing how long it would take before someone gave him something. About five minutes later, someone actually did and upon him explaining it was just a dare he gave them their money back. Bob had to go out dance in the middle of the park and Ken had to answer what color he would dye his hair. Cry had to kiss Felix, and had to take off his mask to do so, although he held in front of them so no one could see. And then Felix, Jack was getting revenge, had to go out and sing 'love is an open door' grabbing random strangers to dance with as he did so.
Felix got back and the whole group was laughing at him when he nudged Jack. "Hey look," He said motioning to the red haired man. "Jack's crush is leaving."
Everyone went silent, watching as the red haired man was putting a leash on his golden retriever. She held the ball in her mouth and they began to leave. The red haired man noticed them staring and smiled. Jack quickly advert end his gaze, not noticing the older man pull a piece of paper out of his pocket. He went and asked someone if they had a pen and wrote something down before handing it back to them.
"He's coming this way." Felix chirped excitedly. "Act natural." Felix grinned, leaning on Cry.
The red haired man came over to the group, holding the leash in his right hand. Ignoring the other 5 people, he took Jack's chin in his left hand, and tilted it up so he was looking into Jack's blue eyes. He then kissed Jack straight on the lips, making Jack's eyes widen temporarily before he closed them, melting into the kiss. The older man pulled away, his eyes flickering over the rest over the group.
"It's for science." He explained, Jack almost fainting right then and there at how deep his voice was. Then he placed the slip of paper with his number on it in Jack's hand, closing Jack's fingers around it. With that, he walked away, leaving a speechless, blushing Jack in his wake.
