Green hair. Leather jacket. Striking blue eyes. Multiple piercings. Jack McLoughlin. That's who caught Mark's eye. The punk and bad boy of the school. They seemed like an unlike pair. Mark was more hipster than anything else. But still, he had a crush. Doesn't everyone fall in love with the people they shouldn't?

Mark's friends knew about his crush. In fact, they knew a little bit more than Mark thought they did. It was one day, that Mark's friends decided they couldn't wait anymore. So what if they were hipsters who liked to play video games? So what if hipsters and punks weren't supposed to date? They knew Jack secretly liked Mark as well. And they knew that neither would confess their love.

So, they found a way to do it for them. Jack never backed down from a challenge, or at least, that's what his friends say. So Marks friends, Bob, Wade, and Felix, with the help from Jack's friend, Danny, Suzy and Arin began to spread rumors. Nothing harmful, just something to boost the two towards each other.

The rumors didn't get passed through out the school, don't worry, but the green haired Irishman's friends made sure he knew.

"You know, some little hipster thinks they can kiss better than you." Suzy brought up causally one day.

"Yeah," Danny contuined, hiding his smirk. "What a shame. Some hipster who can do better than Mr. Woo-Everyone."

"I bet they can't." Jack snarled, slightly annoyed.

"But what if they can?" Arin pressed.

"I'll prove they can't." Jack protested, almost sounding desperate at this point.

"Oh, I think that would be a great idea." Suzy looked around the group with a smile.

"You know, some punk wants to meet with you after school." Felix mentioned as their little group sat under the shade of a tree during lunch.

Mark looked up, confused. "What? Why me?"

"Rumor says you claimed you can kiss better than them." Bob shrugged.

"I never said that!" Mark exclaimed, exasperated.

Wade looked at Felix with a smile. "Well, someone said you did."

"Fine," Mark huffed. "I'll meet them after school and explain that I didn't."

"Have fun with that." Bob mused.

"Wait, you guys aren't coming with me?" Mark asked, almost in a state of panic.

"Oh no," Felix reassured him. "We'll definitely be there."

As the last bell rang, Mark found himself growing nervous. He tried to calm himself with the thought that it was simply a misunderstanding. Practically everyone knew, especially his friends, that the poor raven haired sophomore hadn't ever kissed anyone before, let alone be the best kisser in the school. Who ever started this was simply trying to start drama.

Mark rounded the corner to the back of the school with his friends,  only to find Jack, Suzy, Arin and Danny standing there. Mark suddenly changed his mind. Now he wanted to go home even more than before. It was inevitable that he'd embarrass himself in front of the green haired Junior, he already found himself unable to form words.

"So, which one was it?" Jack asked, sweeping his gaze around the group of hipsters. Mark felt his face grow warm as He was pushed forwards, Danny pointing at him with a smirk.

Jack seemed to freeze for a second, suddenly unsure of himself, before looking at Mark with the original amount of vengeance.

"So, you huh?" Jack said, now smirking. This was gonna be super easy. He could already tell by the brown eyed man's mannerisms that he was nervous. Though, Jack was a little nervous himself.

There were two ways he could go about doing this, he could be aggressive or he could be gentle. Jack decided to go with the latter. The poor sophomore looked so fragile, like if Jack even looked at him too harsh he'd break.

"You think you can kiss better than me?"

"I, uh... well, actually-" Mark began to stutter out before being silenced as Jack shook his head.

"I guess we'll just have to see how true that is." Jack wrapped an arm around Mark's waist, tugging him closer. Mark's face grew bright red,  causing Jack to smirk even more. The green haired Irishman reached up, grabbing Mark's chin and smashing their lips together. Mark let out a little squeak, panting when Jack pulled away.

"So, what do ya think?" Jack asked, surveying the groups that watched in amusement. It was now that Jack realized the pair had been set up, and while he was slightly annoyed, he was quite amused. The green haired man turned back to Mark, who he still held in his arms.

The raven haired sophomore looked up at him nervously before responding, "You win," and kissing Jack once again.
