Jack was bundled up at the door, when Mark grabbed him around the waist, pleading for his boyfriend to stay.

"I really can't stay." Jack protested, trying to shove Mark off him.

"But baby, it's cold outside." Mark whined in his ear, shutting the door and standing in front of it as Jack tried to pry it open again.

"I've got to go away." Jack pouted as Mark just smiled.

"But baby, it's cold outside."

"This evening has been so very nice." Jack tried to push past Mark a third time, starting to get slightly frustrated with his boyfriend as he grabbed Jack and twirled him around, farther and farther from the door

"Been hoping that you'd drop in." Mark said, reminding him that he didn't get to see his Irish boyfriend in person all too often. "I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice." He squeezed Jack's hand that were freezing cold.

"My mother will start to worry." Jack point out, though he couldn't stay mad at Mark for long.

"Beautiful what's your hurry?" Mark pecked Jack on the lips, causing the brown haired man to giggle.

"My father will be pacing the floor." Jack just seemed to be trying to convince himself to leave at this point.

"Listen to the fireplace roar." It was silent as the pair listened to the fire crackle from across the room.

"So really I'd better scurry." Jack was half-heartedly trying to escape, but he had basically given up at this point.

"Beautiful please don't hurry." Mark spun his boyfriend, pulling him close.

"But maybe just a half a drink more..." Jack said, finally relenting.

"Put some records on while I pour." Mark encouraged, Jack shifting over to Mark's phone and softly playing some random Christmas song while Mark scurried into the kitchen.

"The neighbors might think." Jack called to his boyfriend from the living room. It was more of a game than anything at this point.

"Baby, it's bad out there." Mark hurried back into the living room, a bottle of wine, two glasses and a rose in his hands. He gave the rose to Jack, who giggled and set it off to the side, out of harm's way. He then took a glass from Mark and they both took a sip.

"Say what's in this drink?" Jack asked, his eyes glittering with mischief.

"No cabs to be had out there."

"I wish I knew how..."

Mark interrupted him as the pair resumes dancing playfully around the room. "Your eyes are like starlight now." He commented, noticing how the light from the flickering fire reflected in his boyfriend's blue eyes.

"To break this spell." Jack finished, the pair pausing for a second as they kissed.

"I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell." Mark pulled Jack's beanie off his head as Jack wiggled out of his coat, tossing it carelessly onto the couch.

"I ought to say, no, no, no sir." Jack made a grab for the beanie that Mark held over his head, out of Jack's reach.

"Mind if I move in closer?" Mark teased, throwing the beanie out to the couch with the coat and pulling his boyfriend in tight, locking their lips in a kiss.

"At least I'm gonna say that I tried."

"What's the sense in hurtin' my pride?" Mark pouted playfully.

"I really can't stay." Jack pulled himself away from his lovers embrace, scurrying away from the living room, Mark hot on his heels.

"Baby don't hold out. Baby, it's cold outside." Mark caught Jack in the front hall, pushing him to the wall and capturing him against the door.

"You're very pushy, you know?" Jack giggled as Mark pinned him there.

"I like to think of it as optimistic."

"I simply must go." Jack poked his finger into Mark's chest, backing him off, though the Irishman made no motion of heading outside.

"But baby, it's cold outside."

"The answer is no." Jack teased.

Mark just chuckled his response. "But baby, it's cold outside."

"Your welcome has been..."

"How lucky that you dropped in." Mark spoke as Jack did.

"So nice and warm..."

"Look out the window at this storm." Mark spun the other around, pulling him towards his chest and pointing to the snow that pelted down outside.

"My sister will be suspicious." Jack pointed out, turning to face Mark.

"Gosh, your lips look delicious." Mark's tone turned flirty, his gaze wandering down from Jack's stunning blue eyes to his lips, causing Jack to blush.

"My brother will be there at the door."

"Waves upon the tropical shore." Mark leaned in close, his lips brushing the other's as he spoke."

"My maiden aunt's mind is vicious." Jack barely got the words out before Mark's arms snaked around him, one around his waist and the other on the back of his head, pressing their lips together.

"Gosh your lips are delicious."

"But maybe just a cigarette more." Jack let his boyfriend drag him back into the other room.

"Never such a blizzard before." The snow still came pouring down.

"I've gotta get home." Jack's eyes flickered to the clock.

"But baby, you'd freeze out there." Mark said, pulling him close.

"Say lend me a coat." Jack looked over to where his coat sat on the couch.

"It's up to your knees out there." The pair looked out the window, noticing how the snow was piling up.

"You've really been grand." Jack pulled away, but only getting a few steps away before Mark caught him.

"I thrill when you touch my hand." He gave Jack's hand a small squeeze, earning his attention.

"But don't you see?"

"How can you do this thing to me?" He smirked, pulling Jack in close once again and the pair began to dance around the room once more.

"There's bound to be talk tomorrow." His sister would definitely tease him if she found out he'd stayed the night at Marks.

"Think of my lifelong sorrow." Mark said, reminding him of all the times they had talked on Skype, wishing desperately to be at each other's side.

"At least there will be plenty implied."

"If you got pneumonia and died."

"I really can't stay..." Jack said the words, but Mark could tell he didn't mean it at all.

"Get over that old out..." Mark prompted gently, the two coming to a halt in the middle of the room.  Jack hesitated. "Baby, it's cold." Mark repeated one last time.

"Ok, I'll stay, but I'll need to at least text my family so they know I'm ok." Jack compromised. Mark grinned, sweeping Jack up in his arms, the two of them plopping down onto the couch. Jack pulled out his phone, sending a quick text to his mum before clicking it off and throwing it to the side. Him and Mark laid down, snuggling together and turning something on the TV. It wasn't long before the pair was asleep.
