"You're really bad at math, you know that?"

"Well excuse me, Mr. I'm-an-engineer."

Quiet banter came from a table in the back of the library where two lovers sat next to each other.

"Hey, it's not my fault I'm naturally smart."

"Or that you're arrogant either."

"You love me though."

Jack huffed, crossing his arms and sending a glare at his partner. "Yeah... I do."  He admitted, cracking a smile.

Mark leaned over, planting a kiss onto the top of Jack's head, and pulling him into a tight hug. "Let's get back to it." Mark suggested, Jack groaning slightly and he pulled away from Mark.

"I don't wanna..."

"But you have to. Your test is tomorrow." Mark reminded him.

"Who cares, I'd rather just fail and spend the whole day cuddling with you." Jack admitted.

"But you need to actually pass the class this time." Mark pointed out. "This is the second time through."

Jack frowned slightly. "I know, it's just..." he sighed. "It makes sense when you're there but when I'm doing things in class, it doesn't."

"And that's why we have to practice." Mark gently nudged his boyfriend. "Look, lets make a deal. We'll go through this last page if homework, and for every problem you get right, I'll kiss you, and after this page is done, we can go home, ok?"

Jack seemed to perk up a bit at this proposition, and they set off to work. He got the first few wrong, but after a bit more explaining he was getting almost every question right. Mark smirked as he leaned in and kissed his boyfriend for the fifth time now, before shutting the notebook.

"Alright, ready to go now?" He asked, smirking about as Jack debated.

"You'll still kiss me even when we get home?" Jack asked.

"Of course, ya doof." Mark chuckled.

"Then let's get out of here." Jack cheered. They grabbed all their stuff and walked out of the library hand and hand. Mark was pretty sure there would never be an opportunity to kiss Jack that he would turn down.

"I love ya, you know?" Mark asked, stopping in the middle of the parking lot to press another kiss on Jack's lips.

Jack smirked. "Yeah. I know."
