It's been a while since I've written about my favorite smol bean in the entire world so I decided  I wanted to write a fluffy/sappy one. 

BTW I'm still suffering bc of post Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire. (btw Dan is so tall he really is a noodle) The show was sooooOooOooo good!! I miss them so much :(

Dan lay on the hotel bed, stiffly staring at the ceiling. His chest rises and falls heavily, and slowly as he finds it hard to stop the ache in his heart. He misses her, every single part of him misses her and it sounds silly because it's only for a couple weeks. But he can't help it, it kills him that Evanna couldn't come to Australia with them. He has spent nearly every single moment of the last 7 or so years with her, so leaving feels like forever. Other's may make fun of him asking if he can survive without her, they're teasing him of course. But not Phil, he doesn't mock Dan. He is the only one besides Dan's family who knows how connected they are to each other.  It's like their energy feeds off one another, and when she isn't close enough to touch then he can feel it, he feels worn down. So Dan rolls over, glancing up at the black starry sky he feels comfort. When the sun sets in London, this is the very same sky that she will see. He lifts his phone to his ear as he hears the ringing on the other end. Soon he hears her sweet vanilla sounding voice on the other end, washing all tension out of his muscles. 

"Hey baby." She says smoothly, causing him to smile like an idiot. 

"I miss you." He says before he can really stop himself, rolling to his other side. 

"I miss you like crazy. I hardly got any sleep last night without you." She says softly. 

"That's why I called. I couldn't sleep." Dan chuckles breathy, as his eyes scan the door. 

"Get to sleep Dan." She says firmly, but with an underline of gentleness in her tone. 

"I'll try." He tells her, trying to postpone hanging up for as long as he can. 

"I love you." She tells him, her voice growing thicker. 

"I love you baby." He says softly, as he hears a sigh and then nothing. He lowers his phone back to the mattress. The sun begins to barely peek up over the horizon as Dan gives in, standing from the bed. He pulls on a black shirt, with a black pair of skinny jeans. He finishes getting ready and moves to sit on his balcony. He sits, watching the blazing sun begin to come up over the edge of the horizon. The sunlight begins to illuminate the landscape as he hears a knock on his door. Dan doesn't move as he blocked the door with the bolt to prevent it from closing. Phil pushes the door open, and then turns the bolt to let it swing closed. Phil moves over the balcony as he leans against the railing. 

"Get any sleep last night?" Phil asks concerned, his expression growing more worried when Dan shook his head no. There's nothing Phil can do for him and he knows it, so he simply sits in the other chair by Dan. They stare out at the buildings and shops below them as they sit in silence. 

"You miss her?" Phil asks Dan, who simply nods his head. 

"How about we go out today? It's a free day and I have stuff planned for us to do." Phil says, pulling Dan up by the arm. In all honesty, Dan doesn't feel like going out at all, but he knows how excited Phil is and he just doesn't have the heart to tell him no. So they stand,  moving down into the lobby of the hotel.

"So what are we going to do today?" Dan asks Phil as they climb into their drivers car. 

"I figured we should go to an animal park today, and then visit a summit?" (A/N YES THEY ARE DOING THE THINGS THEY DID IN THE VLOG BUT I DON'T FEEL LIKE THEM VLOGGING IT IN MY LITTLE IMAGINE I'M SORRY.) Phil suggests with a smile, so Dan smiles and nods with him. 

They arrive at the animal park where they hold koala's and see other cute fluffy adorable animals. Dan almost feels happy, but he still feels it in the back of his mind. He feels like a part of him has gone missing. He feels empty without her hand in his, or her laughter in his ears. His smile falls as he numbly stares forward as Phil examines animals around them. Phil notices Dan's fallen expression and rolls his eyes before pulling Dan towards the exit. They sit in the car again as they are driven to the summit. They make it to the top where Phil sneakily pulls out a camera as Dan walks out to the outdoor area first. It's cold, so there isn't any people out there except for one girl with dark curly hair, blowing behind her in the wind. Dan, like an idiot, pays  her no mind and walks obliviously by her, to a spot at the railing a little ways away. The girl rolls her eyes as she heads over to him. She parks herself next to him, glancing to the side and noticing his deflated expression. 

"Nice view huh?" She asks him, causing Dan's head to shoot in her direction. His eyes light up as he wraps her in his arms, squeezing her tightly as he twirls her around. He buries his face in her neck as he hold her tight to him. She wraps her arms around his neck as she begins to laugh. 

"Did you miss me?" She asks sarcastically as Dan pulls back to look at her. He smiles a little before kissing the top of her head. 

"Maybe a little bit." Dan says, his cheeks growing red as Phil shuts the camera off, and moves to join them by the railing.
