Shotgun, aimed at my heart, you got one
Tear me apart and then some

I clutch my purse tightly as I bring my knee's to my chest. Tears roll down my cheeks as I stare ahead at the dark haired boy in the hospital bed. I close my eyes and I drop my feet to the floor and I grasp his hand. Maybe if I was there, maybe I could have helped him. Maybe. His eyes flutter open and I quickly stand and rush to his aid. 

"D-Dan?" I stammer and he stares ahead at me. His eyes empty, and ghostly. "Dan. Tell me you know who I am." I plead as he looks more baffled then relieved at my presence.  He shakes his head, a slow motion that splinters my heart like glass. 

It seems like we've been losing control

I remember that horrible day vividly. He forgot the past 2 years we've spent together. Everything. Every good day, every bad day. I sit, propped up against the wooden bar downing shots of whiskey. I turn, blurry eyed as I head back to our apartment complex. I stumble through the front door. Dan turns, backing away. My eyes are surely blood shot. I grunt once before trudging up the stairs to Phil's bedroom where I am sleeping currently.

But it seems I can't move as I lock my eyes with his. Eyes concerned, full of pity, and guilt. He wishes he could remember, to save me from this pain. I stand at the first step, my hand resting on the railing. I stumble slightly as I head over to him. My hand subconsciously reach up and cup his cheek with my left hand. I smile a little, heartbroken, smile as his eyes fill with guilt and pity. 

I sit behind the camera as Dan and Phil film their new video explaining what happened to Dan and that he had forgotten the past 2 years of his life and is watching video's hoping to jog his memory. 

"And as you guys know, I was..dating..Sophie. But we are putting it to a halt until...I can remember anything. So I apologize Daphie shipper's." Dan explains, nervously and cautiously looking towards me. I glance down at the photo of him I sneakily took. He was talking to Phil, looking at him with his hands clasped together. I love this photo, and I have no idea why. (Link to photo if you rly wanna see the one I'm talking bout. First one is...called...'We're cuties.' So.." He says as he clicks on the video. He made that video last week for our 2  year anniversary. It just has small clips and pictures of us doing cute things. Like there's a photo of us kissing, and another of the time Phil sneakily vlogged us dancing in the kitchen together when it was late, like 3 AM. And then a photo of us from behind, when Phil took it. Dan was pointing at something, and I was looking over with him whilst we were holding hands. I see him smile a little as he pauses the video. 

"Phil...can you tell me about me and Sophie." He asks and Phil looks slightly taken aback.

"Yeah. So the first time you guys really met was cute. You were stumbling over your words and you were blushing like crazy and you asked her for dinner. You two went and you held her hand, or so you told me you did. Then um. My favorite of your guys' moments was definitely when you were dancing in the kitchen. I was vlogging in my room and then I heard the song 'Love Me Like You Do' playing from downstairs, so I sneak down and I see you and Soph dancing to it in the kitchen. You were spinning her and dipping her and dancing all exaggerated. She was smiling and you were laughing. She rested her arms around your neck and her head was in your neck/shoulder and you had your hands on her waist and my favorite part was when you said-" 

"I love you times infinity." He finished for Phil. My eyes widen as I look to Dan, but he was looking at Phil, and then he slowly looked to the camera, a small smile playing on his lips. (GIF I attached) And I knew, I knew that he remembered.
