This is a Dan Howell au where Dan is some successful business owner (like he is the CEO of like a business dealing with handling money or like banking) and is only focused on his career and being successful and making money. And the character (Sophie) is falling for him. But little does anyone know, the CEO is putting up a facade and Sophie stumbles across a very...interesting...quality to the business owner.
Oh and sorry I'm not updating as often, my school is very stressful and I have lots of stuff to do to prepare for my graduation seeing as I'm a senior in High School. (how did that happen?! ;-; ??)

Song: Oh No By Marina and the Diamonds

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know exactly what I want and who I want to be...
I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine...
I'm now becoming my own self-fulfilled prophecy...
I stared, almost feeling myself drowning in my own drool because holy damn the actual Dan Howell is sitting directly in front of me. I nod casually and jot down his answer, preparing to ask him another question for my interview. I clear my throat after he finishes and he glances down at his watch before looking back up at me, standing from the couch.
"Sorry have to go, another meeting to get to, nice meeting you Sasha." He says gripping and shaking my hand quickly before buzzing out the door, with the rest of his afraid personnel fluttering after him quickly sorting out his things as he barks off orders.
"It's Sophie..." I mutter under my breath, getting the rest of my papers together. I notice a black leather folder sitting on the coffee table with the name 'Mr. Daniel James Howell' engraved in gold thread in the bottom right corner. I quickly make my way outside just in time to see Mr. Howell getting into his black SUV. I notice him glance my way and we lock eyes for a moment before he nods curtly, and sitting in the car. The door is shut and the SUV pulls away from the curb quickly. I think back to his brown eyes, strange such young looking eyes belongs to such a mature and almost emotionless CEO.
Don't do love, don't do friends...
I'm only after success...
Don't need a relationship...
I'll never soften my grip...
I grumble to myself taking out my phone and searching the address to his building, I'll just drop it off there. I find the place and begin my walk, but my curiosity burns, and I can't help but flip open the folder. My eyes widen at the contents and as I flip through them one by one the 'stone cold' CEO seems to be more and more of a facade. With shaky hands, I close the folder as I feel my heart swell at the thought of its contents. I push open the door and head to the elevator and push the top floor. The elevator doors open and I stride to the front desk.
"Excuse me, but Mr. Howell had left his folder after our interview." I explain and the intern looks up at me.
"Just take it into his office, place it on his desk." She says with a smile. I head on to his office, opening the door without thinking. Behind his desk Mr. Howell looks up, slightly startled.
"Oh, Sarah. We had the interview didn't we-"
"Its Sophie!" I burst without being able to stop myself. He leans back in his leather chair with an amused smirk evident on his lips. My cheeks burn red as I walk forward, sticking out the folder out for him to take. His eyes dance between mine and the folder before sitting still. Annoyed, I drop the folder onto his desk and turn to leave. Before I get to the door however I hear his voice.
"Why didn't you knock before entering? Isn't that a bit rude? I didn't take you to be so rash Ms. Bennett." He says, his voice sounding something of silk. I feel my heart thump with red hot anger as I turn to see him looking more amused than before.
"Your intern said to go right in." I grumbled through a locked jaw. His eyes brightened a bit, as he stood, a mischievous look painted across his features. He straightens his crisp black suit as he strides to me, my anger and confidence from before slowly slip away. His pointer and thumb gently grip my chin, pulling my face closer to his. He lowers his lips to my ear.
"You're brave Ms. Bennett." He whispers into my ear before releasing me, and suddenly his eyes are dark again, as he makes his way behind his desk. I grip the door handle to prevent from slipping to the ground.
"Too brave." He adds, his cold expression from before returning to his face. My eyes widen as I realize what he's done. How could I let him get the better of me like that, learn my weakness so easily.
"Y-you pathetic snake." I push out and he sits.
"I'm an entrepreneur Ms. Bennett. I learn, that's how I stay on top." He tells me, returning to his work. My eyes spring with tears as I twist the handle. I think about the folder and its contents as I'm opening the door. Before I slam the door shut I call over my shoulder.
"Nice sketches Mr. Howell.  I wouldn't take you as an anime fan." I spit, wishing I could see his horrified expression as I slam the door closed.
 If I fail, I'll fall apart...
'Cause I feel like I'm the worst...
So I always act like I'm the best...
