Y/N tried to move on, she went on dates and had one night stands. She dated and kissed and said 'I love you' but it was all lies. None of the other guys made her feel like she was on fire, none of the guys made her whole body tingle when they touched her. None of the other guys made her feel like she was flying, that's how she felt with Dan. She wanted to cry, she wanted to kick and scream but she felt nothing. At this point, about 8 months after Dan ripped her heart out, she knew she would never change his mind.  Y/N needed him, and she couldn't get him out of her head. Her mind, body, and soul ached for him. Y/N yanked her phone out of her pocket when it vibrated.

Y/N opened the picture on his Instagram and her heart stopped, it was a picture of Dan kissing a girl. Y/N felt tears in her eyes as she viewed the caption which read 'my love'. Y/N's chest ached as she felt sobs burning her lungs, she couldn't believe he got over her so quickly. Why was this so hard for her?  Y/N rolled onto her back, wiping her tears before reaching for her phone. She scrolled through her contacts before her eyes landed on Phil's name. 

"Hi Y/N!" Phil answered in a happy tone, with Dan's head snapping towards him. 

"Hey Philly, I have a random question for you." She said. 

"Alright, what is it?" Phil asked, ignoring Dan's stares. 

"I was wondering if me and my boyfriend could come have dinner with you? I haven't seen you in so long and plus I told him it won't work out between us if you don't like him." Y/N laughed and Phil chuckled, slowly understanding what she was trying to do. She wanted to make Dan jealous. 

"Sure! How does tomorrow night sound?" Phil asked and Y/N thought for a moment. 

"Works with me, we'll be there at 6." She told him and soon hung up afterwords. She stood up, moving to the living room when she heard Tiffany come in through the door. 

"Tiff! Is Zach with you?" Y/N asked, coming down the stairs. 

"Yeah?" Zach, their mutual friend, said confused. 

"Good! I need you to be my fake boyfriend for a dinner tomorrow." Y/N said with a smile on her face. 

"Are you smiling?" Tiffany asked with a genuinely surprised tone. 

"Is this a dinner with Dan?" Zach asked in amusement. 

"It's a dinner with Phil but Dan'll probably be there. Win-Win." Y/N joked and Zach thought. 

"Do I get to kiss you?" He teased, as he totally has a crush on Tiffany. 

"Maybe. We'll have to make it believable." She responded and he smiled. 

"Sure, I'll be your fake boyfriend." He said and Y/n squealed in happiness, running back up the stairs.

Dan stared at Phil expectantly, wanting to know why the hell Y/N called him. 

"Well?" He asked and Phil bit back a smile. 

"Well Y/N is coming to dinner tomorrow night. With her boyfriend." Phil said and Dan nearly choked on his drink. 

"Her what?" He asked, trying to hold back the frustration he was feeling.
