Darrel: No, why?
David: There are rumours about you.
Darrel: What do they say?
David: That you lead on every boy that looks your way, then dump them and they always come crawling back to you. And apparently, you love the attention.
Darrel: Well, I don't lead anyone on! And I never wanted Sebastian to try and get back with me! And I have enough attention without all of that! 😡😡😡
David: Well, someone thinks that.
Darrel: And I'm determined to find out who.
Later that day
Tom: I've seen the rumours online, are you okay?
Darrel: Well apart from the fact that both sets of parents are probably getting a divorce, my sisters have disowned me, Mama can barely look at me, and my best friend hates me because her ex wants to marry me, I'm great! 😑
Tom: Sorry.
Darrel: No, I'm sorry. I have a lot on my mind.
Tom: I'm sure. Well, if there's anything I can do, you have my number.
Darrel: Thanks. How are things at home?
Tom: Cora's leaving for America soon. Edith's always with Bertie and Marigold. Mary's either shopping or flirting with Henry.
Darrel: Nothing's changed much. 🙁
Tom: Hopefully things will soon.
Later that day
Paul: Well, the rumours are not being started by Sebastian.
Darrel: How do you know?
Paul: I made him swear on Pablo's life that it wasn't him. And we all know he cares about Pablo.
Darrel: Firstly, stop getting into arguments with Sebastian. 😡 Secondly, I never thought it would be him.
Paul: Why not?
Darrel: He wants to date me. And if we were to find out it was him, he would blow his chances.
Paul: Well done Sherlockia.
Darrel: Sherlockia??? 🤔🤔🤔
Paul: Eh, female version of Sherlock.
Darrel: LAME.
Paul: I'll swing by tonight. Try and cheer you up.
Darrel: Thanks, you're so sweet. 😘
Paul: I ❤️ U, my darling.
Darrel: I love you too.
