Cora: Elizabeth, can I speak to you?

Elizabeth: Very well, make it quick. I have a meeting in five minutes. ⏰

Cora has added Robert to the conversation

Elizabeth: No, no, I am leaving.

Elizabeth has left the conversation

Robert: Well, that well as well as I expected. 😢

Cora: Be positive Robert. We have to get her back.

Cora has added Elizabeth to the conversation

Elizabeth: Leave me alone! 😡

Cora: Please, darling. Just listen to us. Give us the four minutes before your meeting.

Elizabeth: Have you got any hot coals I could walk across instead? 🙅🏻‍♀️

Cora: For once in your life, could you just listen to me!

Elizabeth: Why should I? I thought you wanted nothing to do with me! 😡

Cora: That was before. I've been thinking for quite a while, and talking it out with your father...

Elizabeth: He is not my father.

Cora: You are our daughter. No matter how much the queen and king change you, no matter if you never come back to us, you are our daughter. You are Darrel Crawley. Even if you've changed your name to Elizabeth, even if you become a Windsor, that will never change. I will never stop thinking of you as my daughter, our daughter. 👨‍👩‍👧

Elizabeth: Well, if only we could take back our texts.

Robert: I know that we have both behaved badly...and that some terrible things have been said, all over the place but...

Elizabeth: I don't even want your name appearing on my screen. 

Cora: Please, my darling. I love you so much, I can't imagine a future without you. I will not be happy without you. I'm not saying we can fix everything over this text message, but I just want you to be willing to come back to us. Come back to where you belong.

Elizabeth: I can perhaps consider it. 

Cora: Really?

Elizabeth: But let me make this very clear. I am keeping my name as Elizabeth, and I might even change it to Windsor. I am still very content with remaining disowned from Lord Grantham. However, I am willing to address you as my mama.

Cora: 😲 Thank you dear!

Elizabeth: Now, I really must go to my meeting. Goodbye.

Elizabeth has left the conversation

Robert: Why didn't you try to get her to address me as her papa?

Cora: Robert, it's a break through that I got her to come back to me! For now, that is all we can do.

Robert: But...

Cora: She will now listen to me, her sisters, and her brother in laws. We'll manage to get her back.

Robert: I am very skeptic.

Cora: Plus, I have one more plan.

Robert: Which is?

Cora: We're going to ask the Duke of York for his assistance.

Robert: He'll never help us! He wants Darrel to be a Windsor, just like his parents!

Cora: I believe that unlike his parents, he cares about Darrel, his sister. If we can convince him that it will be better for her to be a Crawley, he will help us convince her. Trust me.

Robert: I'm not sure.

Cora: Do you have any better suggestions?

Robert: 🙄. I guess not.

Cora: Good. I'll text him in a few days, after we see how it's going with Darrel.

Robert: Cora...bring her home. Bring our daughter home.

Cora: We will. ❤️
