David: How did you find Christmas at the palace?

Elizabeth: It seemed a bit formal.

David: It was Christmas at the palace, what did you expect?

Elizabeth: I don't know. It was...different, I suppose.

David: Well, I'm glad you decided to spend Christmas here.

Elizabeth: So am I. ☺️

----------------------------

Edith: Thank you so much for the gifts.

Mary: What'd she get you?

Edith: New pens and a notebook. ✒️📓

Mary: Why did you get her a nice gift?

Tom: What'd she get you?

Mary: A mirror.

Elizabeth: Well, you use them an awful lot.

Tom: I really enjoyed my gift, thank you.

Edith: What was it?

Elizabeth: A book called: 'How to survive my in-laws'. David was clearing out the library and let me have it.

Edith: We're not that hard to deal with!

Elizabeth: I didn't mean you.

Edith: Oh...

Elizabeth: I better go.

Elizabeth: How was Christmas?

Thomas: Not bad.

Elizabeth: Did you do anything nice after serving us dinner?

Thomas: I got to put a paper crown on Sanders' head.

Elizabeth: Please tell me you have photographs.

Thomas: I do. He...he drank a little too much.

Elizabeth: Sanders?

Thomas: Someone might've given him the wrong proportions. 😏

Elizabeth: Who was that? 😉

Thomas: I have absolutely no idea. I always give my employer the utmost respect.

Elizabeth: Right. Except for Carson, Sanders, Lord Grantham and...

Thomas: I was joking!

Elizabeth: Sorry. You're more amusing than texting David.

Thomas: I best be getting back to work.

Elizabeth: Alright.
