Chapter 12

Shawn's surprised yelp jolted me awake. His head was still resting on my lap and I was sitting with my head leaned against the wall.
"Bunny?" He asked, his voice barely a whisper. I groaned.
"What do you want?"
He moaned.
"Ugh my head!"
I rolled my eyes before playfully smiling. "You got totally smashed last night."
He grabbed his forehead and moaned again. I laughed and he narrowed his eyes playfully.
"It's not funny, Mason! I'm in pain!" He whined.
I just laughed harder. "It is funny!!"
He grabbed me and started tickling my sides. I squealed and struggled against his grip. "Stop!!" I whined. Shawn smiled again before getting up and walking to his room. I turned and limped downstairs on my good foot and started making pancakes. I smiled to myself, thinking about last night when Shawn told me that he was sorry.
I mixed the batter together and poured it into the pan.
I turned around when I heard Shawn loudly rumbling down the stairs.
His smile turned into a frown when he saw me.
"What?" I asked. He walked up to me and put his hand on my cheek, making me flinch.
"D-did I do this to you?" He asked, looking at the bruise on my face. I winced.
"Y-ya. Last night, you drank two tequila bottles and when I tried to take the third away you smacked me in the face," I whispered, focusing on my shoes. Shawn grabbed my chin lightly in his hands and lifted my head. His brown eyes were filled with sadness.
"Mason, I'm so sorry. You were only trying to help. I'm such an idiot!"
I smiled.
"It's fine. I gave you that cut on your head in return!" I exclaimed.
I turned around and flipped the pancakes. 
"I love you, Macy," he murmured. I rolled my eyes and shoved a plate full of pancakes toward him.
We sat down and at the table and Shawn kept looking at me and smiling every time I would take a bite.
"What?"
He just shrugged and I rolled my eyes. 
Shawn's P.O.V.
I couldn't help but stare at Mason. Even with her messy hair and pajamas, she still managed to amaze me. 
"Oh my god, Shawn! Stop staring at me!" She whined. I laughed and put our dirt plates in the dishwasher.
"I'm sorry, bunny! Your just so cute!" I teased, grabbing her cheeks in my hands. She grunted and slapped my hands away. Before she could leave, I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin on her head. She was short, only reaching 5'6", but she was perfect.
"Shawn, can you please play another song for me?! Pleasssseeeee!" She begged, tugging on my shirt. I shook my head. Mason made big puppy eyes and put out a pouty lip.
I narrowed my eyes. "Not. Fair." I couldn't help it, she was just so darn cute. When she did that, it made my heart melt. Mason squealed and rushed over to the couch. I grabbed my guitar and sat down next to her. She was so beautiful. This was another song I wrote for her, but she wouldn't know.

Mason smiled and clapped her hands.
"Your so good, Shawn!"
I shook my head and put down my guitar. "I'm not that good," I muttered. Her eyes widened and she threw her hands in the air.
"Are you kidding!" She squealed. She jumped forward and gave me a hug, making me gasp. "You're amazing Shawn," She whispered in my ear. I looked down at my feet and blushed.
"Oh my god!" She whispered.
"What?"
"THE Shawn Mendes is actually blushing?" She gaped.
"Stopppp!" I whined. She laughed and rested her head on my chest.
I don't know what I said to
her when I was drunk last night, but it must've been something good.
