Myco's POV
"Hey, napatawag ka?" tanong ko kay Zinderella kahit parang alam ko na yung dahilan kung bakit siya napatawag.
"Hindi kasi ako makakasam bukas, My dad wants us to fly there, he said he misses us. You know naman, I can't let them down." Sagot niya.
I was right. "It's alright. Dalawa na naman kami ni Myco eh, babalitaan ka na lang namin." Sagot ko.
"Okay. I'll be back soon." Sagot niya.
"No problem. See you then." Sagot ko tapos binababa ko na yung phone.
*Flashback*
"Hi Tita!" Pagsalubong ko kay Mrs. Luis ng makita ko sa sa entrance ng restaurant na pinareserve ko.
"Hi Myco." Ngumiti siya. Parehong pareho sila ni Zindy kung ngumiti. "Bakit nga pala gusto mo ko makusap?" tanong niya.
"Tita okay lang po ba kung humingi ng pabor?" tanong ko.
"What is it?" tanong niya nghindi pa rin naalis ang ngiti sa mga labi.
"Okay lang po ba na tulungan niyo ko na hindi makasama samin si Zindy sa pagpunta namin sa isa sa big project na hahawakan namin?" tanong ko.
"Bakit naman? I think she's excited for that." Sagot niya.
"Yes tita, I can see that. But only on that day. I just have to confirm something." Sagot ko naman.
"What is it that bothers you, iho?" tanong niya.
"Tita, I guess I already found the person who took care of her back on that island." Sagot ko.
Nagulat siya.
"What? Ah... I mean—how?" tanong niya.
"Hindi pa po ko sigurado, pero—
"Then why do you want to hide this from her?" tanong niya.
"Hindi ko rin po alam. Minsan niyang prinotektahann yung feelings ko, I think I want to do the same. I want to protect her." Sagot ko.
"Pero diba sinabi niyong naging mabuti sa kanya yung taong yun?" tanong niya.
She's right.
But—
"But we still don't know the story behind that." Sagot ko. "Tita, I need to know everything first. We don't even know yet kung pa'no ihahandle ni Zindy to once she knew. Tita, trust me. Hindi ko to itatago sa kanya ng matagal. I just need to confirm kung tama ako. Please?"
"Myco, you're like a son to me. I will trust you, pero please, avoid hurting my daughter with the truth. Okay?" paniniguro niya.
"Ofcourse tita, salamat po. Salamat po talaga."
*End of flashback*
"Where's Ms. Luis?" tanong agad ni Mr. Li sa amin pagdating sa airport.
"She can't come. She had to go to states." Sagot ko.
