A Greatest Mistake of an Innocent

Reid POV

"Sir I'm sorry but you're not allowed to enter this village." salubong ng amerkinanong security guard sa akin. Nangunot ang noo ko.

"What? But I was here Yesterday." I reasoned out.

"I'm sorry sir but the Villaruiz family doesn't want to let you in anymore. I'm just doing my job." matatag na saad ng guard. I sighed. I didn't expect this. But I should have expected this already because of what I had confessed to them yesterday.

Naiiling akong sumakay ulit sa kotse ko.

Now what should I do?

Wait, the guard said I am not allowed to enter to the village anymore. So it means I can stay outside and wait for the Villaruiz to go out. Then the only thing I have to do is to wait for them to come out.

I smiled with what I thought.

I parked my car beside the guardhouse.

I will never give up. I am doing this for my love ones and I'll never get tired of waiting.

I rested my head and reclined the chair. I closed my eyes. I told myself that I'll just wait the Villaruiz to come out but the next thing I knew, I am already sleeping dreamily.

Few minutes later I was awaken by a loud knock on my window.

Ibinaba ko ang mirror at ang mukha ng guard ang sumalubong sa akin.

"Sir? Are you alright? You've been here for--" he stopped and glanced at his wristwatch before looking and talked to me again.

"--almost 3 hours already."

My eyes went wide. My jaw dropped. What??

"3 HOURS??" I was shocked. Really. The security guard just nodded at me.

I looked at my wristwatch.

Sh-t! It's already 11:00 in the morning. What the hell!

Lumabas ako sa kotse ko at saka luminga-linga sa paligid.

"What is it Sir? Are you looking for something?"

"Did the Villaruiz already went out?" I asked.

"Yes Sir."

"Sh-t." napakamot ako sa ulo ko.

"Do you know what time they'll be back?"

"Usually, they're already home at 6:30 Sir."

I nodded.

"Okay."

I guess I'll just be back before 6. Kung bakit ba naman kasi nakatulog ako eh.

Bumalik ako sa hotel para kumain at dumaan na muna ako sa company.

Just what I've said ay bumalik ako before 6.

"Good evening Sir." bati ng guard sa akin. I just smiled at him.

Minabuti kong lumabas na lamang ng kotse at makitambay sa guardhouse. Mas mabuti kung dito ako, para agad akong makakilos kapag dumating na ang mga ViIllaruiz since katabi lang ng guardhouse ang gate.

While waiting I decided to stalked Haley on IG.

I missed her as well as the twin.

I am busy scrolling when Kim's name popped out on my messages.
