CHAPTER 23

Yuseff's POV

Mrs. Darlene called me first thing in the morning. Sabi nya, this is very urgent kaya naman nagmadali akong bumaba sa office nya. Mrs. Darlene is my mom's friend and I'm close to her dahil anak na din ang turing nya sa akin. Kaibigan na sya ni Mom since they were studying.

"Tita."

"Yuseff, I'm sorry. I just learned today this news."

Iniabot nya sa akin ang folder pero eto at nanlaki ang mata ko sa mga nababasa ko.

"Who approved her application??!!"

I saw Kristina's application signed and stamped HIRED. My world suddenly become so dark and my blood keeps on boiling.

"I made an ivestigation. She was actually referred by your wife so my recruitment team thought it was okay with you. The problem is Chef Joe is now ready for the transfer. He'll actually start reporting tomorrow on the other branch. Hindi natin pwedeng tanggalin agad si Kristina, remember, we need her because of the evaluation."

Paanong nakabalik ulit si Kristina sa buhay ko ng walang ka effort effort? Paanong ang asawa ko pa ang may dahilan kung bakit sya naririto ngayon.

"How did my wife knew her?"

"I think she didn't know. I've asked Bianca, sa kanya binigay ni Fere ang resume, then they process the application. Ofcourse, she was good enough so my recruitment team together with Chef Joe hired her."

Will I ask her why? Do I need to ask my wife about things? Paano na lang kung hindi nya alam? Arggg! This is so frustrating. Hindi pwede magkagulo ngayon dahil kailangan ng mataas na rating ng restaurant.

"I suggest we keep her for awhile. But I'll keep the post open para kapag may nagapply, we can let her go."

"Do whatever you think will suit this case Tita. Kayo na po ang bahala, I need to know how my wife get involved with this."

"Yuseff, please remain calm. I understand you at alam ko kung ano ang nangyari in the past. Just be calm if ever you ask questions to your wife."

I just nod at her. Kailangan ko munang magisip. Maybe, I need to go there. I need to talk to her and ask her what does she wants.She should stay out of my life.

Fere's POV

NagCR lang ako nawala na ang asawa ko sa opisina nya. Hindi ko rin macontact kung asan yun. May meeting pa naman yun ngayon. Haii naku, pasaway talaga. Kaya heto inarearrange ko na lang ang schedule nya.

Nagulat na lang ako ng tumawag si Patricia.

*** Video Call***

Patchie: Bitch! Sinabi mo ba kay Kuya kung nasaan ako?

Fere: Hindi! Paano ko sasabihin eh hindi ko din alam. Bakit ba?

Patchie: Feeling ko kasi may sumusunod sa amin dito.

Fere: Sa amin?? Sino ang kasama mo?

Fere: Bakit hindi mo tinanggap si Kristina Vibar- Remullo sa Cooking Жена

Patchie: Paano mo sya nakilala??!!! Nasaan ang hayop na bruhang yun??!!

Fere: Easy ka lang, bakit ka ba kasi nagagalit??

Patchie: Paanong hindi?! Yun ang sumira ng buhay ng Kuya ko! Si Kristina ang EX ni Kuya!

Fere: What?!

Patchie: Bakit? Wag mo sabihing lumalapit na naman yun kay Kuya!

Fere: Patch! Tulungan mo ako! Pinasok ko pa naman yun sa Cooking Жена. Hindi naman nya sinabi kasi na EX nya ang kuya mo. Patch! Anong gagawin ko?!!

Patch: Edi tanggalin mo!

Fere: Paano??

Patch: Edi Ifire mo!

Fere: Patch naman! Secretary lang ako dito. Umuwi ka na please! Tanggalin mo sya. Baka iwan ako ng kuya mo. Patch!

Patch: Stupid ka eh! Sabihin mo kay kuya!

Fere: Patch naman eh! Patch! Tulungan mo naman ako.

Patch: Sabihin mo kay Kuya sabi.

Fere: Patch! Alam mo namang hindi ako mahal ng pinsan mo eh! Iiwan nya ako Patch!

Mababaliw ata ako sa nalaman ko. That Kristina na ipinasok ko sa Cooking Жена ay ang babaeng mahal ni Yuseff. I was so stupid.

Hindi ko alam kung paaano ang gagawin ko ngayon! I am so stupid to make her get near Yuseff.

Pagdating ko sa restaurant walang sabi sabing dumirecho ako sa kitchen at sinampal si Kristina.

We are fighting non-stop. Wala namang nakakakita sa amin kundi yung mga staff dahil nasa likod kami, katabi ng mga basura. Nagulat na lang ako ng biglang may humila sa akin.

Nanginginig ako. Nagkita na sila! Malalaman na nyang may anak sya kay Kristina. Maaari na nya akong iwan. And just by that thought umiyak na ako ng umiyak. I am in pain. Alam ko kasalanan ko. It's my damn fault.

Nahila na ako ni Yuseff hanggang kotse. My arms are full of scratch. I've got a sprain dahil sa tulakan namin ni Kristina. My head is hurting. And my eyes won't stop crying. He was so silent, it's killing me. I want to die. I don't want him leaving me.

After he parked the car he get off already. I was waiting for him to come to me but he didn't. I am so weak I cannot move even an inch so I stayed in the car. God, if I'm going to die, let me see him smile at me and say he loves me.
