CHAPTER 30.5

Fere's POV

The whole afternoon after we arrive went well. Patchie told me that Yuseff's not living here so I don't have to worry. Minsan nga lang daw yun umuwi. I should not be worrying much. She even gave me time so I could open up to her. Hindi madali pero I owe her explanations.

Eto ngayon at magkaharap kami ni Patchie having tea and coffee. Yugi is busy playing with Patchie's eldest son. Akalain mong magkaedad pa silang dalawa. Yugi's very happy to see a playmate. While Faye is busy with Lola. Mahal na mahal ni Lola si Faye, si Faye kasi ang kasama nya nung mga panahong nagiisa sya dito sa mansyon. Eto nga't nagcacatch up na sila.

"You owe me 5 years." Patch said

"And you owe me a year before I leave." Sabi ko

"Leave? You didn't just leave."

"Okay, so before I runaway."

We laughed a little.

"I missed you so much Fere."

"I missed you too. I miss all of you."

"Can you tell me now?"

"The day I called you, I went to Kristina. Sumugod ako sa kanya to make her go away. Pero wrong move. I just learned she and Yuseff had a son. And that was the start of how I messed out my life."

I take a sip of coffee.

"Yuseff changed. He's on the verge of leaving me. He sees Kristina and their son behind my back. I was into losing my sanity too. Someone came to me and offered help. It was Anthony. He asked me to lure Yuseff and let him sign the deed of sale and he'll help me keep Kristina and her son away from us. I was so desperate I believe him and made Yuseff sign it."

"Yuseff knew all of it and made me sign the annulment papers. After that, I left. Hindi kaya ng hiya ko ang ginawa ko sa inyo. Then things happen, I lost Fate. I lost Mama too a year ago."

I was so proud I've told everything without crying.

"I'm sorry Fere, I'm sorry I'm not there with you."

"It was my fault Patch."

"Can we forget everything Fere?"

"But--"

"I was able to recover the restaurant, oh well, technically it's under my name so they weren't able to get it."

"I'm sorry Patch."

"Stop the sorry Fere. Kasi may kasalanan din naman ako. I wasn't here."

"So when would you like to see the girls? They misses you too."

"I want to condition myself first, hindi pa nga nagsisink in sa akin na andito ako sa inyo."

Nagulat na lang kami ng nagsisigaw ang mga bata. I am hearing Yugi's cries.

"Go away uncle!!" sigaw ng anak ni Patchie

"No, this kid should go away!"

"Mama!!!!!!!!!" sigaw ni Yugi

"Who told you to bring that bastard kid here?!!"salubong sa akin ni Yuseff

"Yuseff, please, hwag ang bata!"

"And what??!! You whore! Dinala mo pa dito ang anak mo?! Ang kapal talaga ng mukha mo. Ano sya ba ang naging bunga ng pagiging gold-digging whore mo? Ama ba nya ang dahilan kung paano ka nabuhay ng wala ang pera ko? Ama ba nya ang dahilan kaya pinirmahan mo ang annulment ng walang nakukuha sa akin??? Huuu. If I know better. Alam na alam kong pinerahan mo lang sya. At ngayon? Mahirap na ba sya?? Kaya ngayon andito ka at ipapaako sa pamilya ko?! Ganyan ba kakapal ang mukha mo ha?!!"

"Yuseff, para mo nang awa. H'wag sa harap ng anak ko. Pwede mo akong saktan, pwede mo akong ipahiya, pero please hwag sa harap nya."

"Ang kapal ng mukha mo!"

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Hwag mo saktan ang Mama ko!! Bad ka! Bad ka! Waaaaaa!!!!!!"

"Kuya! Stop it!"

Pumagitna na si Patchie sa amin.

"Umalis ka jan Patricia."

"No! Hindi na ako papayag na masaktan mo ulit sya."

"Patricia! Stay out of this."

"No! You stay out of her life! Go away!"

"Patch, tama na. Hindi yan healthy sa'yo."

"Hindi talaga healthy na makita ko sya dito! Lumayas ka dito Yuseff!!" Sigaw ni Patchie

"Now, ako ang pinalalayas mo. Huh."

"Patch please. Makakasama sayo to."

"Halika na Fere. Let's leave this monster here. Kids, akyat na tayo sa play room."
