Abigail's POV

"You know Kellin, Katy really needed you here when the war was still on. Did you know that Stella got shot?!" I yelled into my phone. I was really disappointed in Kellin that he vanished and abandoned Katy to fight on her own.

"I know mom, and I'm truly sorry! But, Katelynn insisted that we leave. It was for a good reason, I just can't explain it." He sounded hurt.

"Alright, you better apologize to your sister. Do you know how tough she has it?" I heard him sigh on the other end.

"I know and I will apologize. I'm going to be late for my gig. I'll see you tomorrow when we get back. Bye mom, love you!"

"Love you too." I hung up and began washing the dishes. As soon as I finished the last plate the doorbell rang.

"Katy, it better be you because I'm not in a very good mood-" I froze.

Short brown hair, hazel eyes, tall muscular figure.

"Hello, Abigail." The crinkles by his eyes showed as he smiled.

"C-Christopher?" I chocked out. At least 20 years have gone by since I've last seen him. Right before Katy was born.

"Yes, Abi, it's me." He opened his as and I didn't hesitate to run into them.

"I'm sorry I dirt come earlier, I was going to come when I saw Karma, but I got and phone call and they needed me back in Heaven." He chuckled, making his chest vibrate against my cheek.

"I missed you so much!" He kissed my forehead. "Does Kellin know you're here?" I asked.

"Wow Kellin, I haven't seen that boy for years. How is he?" He asked.

"Great, he's on vacation with his wife and daughter and he has a gig right as we speak." I released him from my tight hold.

"That's wonderful. There's so much catching up to do, I don't know where to begin!"

Stella's POV

Why is it so dark? Am I in Heaven? Oh right, I got shot. But, did I die or something?

White light started shining down on me. Soon, it filled the whole room. I could see a faint pale face inching closer to me.

"Stella." It called. I squinted, trying to make out the face. I knew it was a girl by the voice. She had my same brown eyes, but with blonde hair. I knew right then and there it was my twin sister, Micah.

"Micah?" I breathed. She had a few years ago by hunters. I've always secretly feared humans. I try to accept them and I know that not all of them are bad. But I made a pact with myself that I'd hunt those hunters down and kill them. Time for the hunters to become the hunted.

She giggled. "How's my baby sis doing?"

"You're only older than me by like a minute." I crossed my arms. "Wait what am I doing here? What are you doing here?" I asked, looking around. She was dressed in a white lace dress and white sandals.

"You're at the Gates of Heaven, silly. But, it's not your time, Stella." She put a hand on my shoulder.

"It wasn't your time either." I mentioned.

"You can't control fate. You have a mate, who's worried sick about you. Sure he's cute and all, but it gets annoying watching him murmur and pace all day. Lucky duck, you always got the cute ones in high school." She elbowed me. "Time to go Stella."

"I'll miss you Micah." I hugged her tight like my life depended on it. I squeezed my eyes tight and let a stray tear fall.

When I opened my eyes, I was in a hospital bed and my chest hurt.

"She's awake."
