Stella's POV

I opened my eyes and saw a woman dressed in pink scrubs. She must be the nurse. My wolf started whining.

'What's wrong?'

'Our mate is in pain!' My senses became heightened at the mention of our long awaited mate.

'What do you mean?!'

'He's worried. His wolf is loathing for us!' She paced around.

I started laughing aloud, getting the nurse's attention.

"Ah, Ms. Dickinson, I've given you some pain medicine through your IV to ease your chest pain. Would you like me to bring in your visitors?" She asked, finishing putting the IV machine away.

I nodded eagerly, making little pricks of pain shoot through me. I winced. "Yes please." She nodded and shut the door behind her.

Dustin's POV

I eventually sat down in a chair, but my leg wouldn't stop bouncing. Karma would warn me when my eyes started changing color, my wolf was trying to take over.

The doctor had told us that Stella had gone unconscious due to the amnesia medicine. Goddess I hope she remembers me.

"Visitors for Stella Dickinson?" The nurse called. Someday I'll change her last name to Mill.

I jumped out of my seat, making it fall over.

"She's awake." The nurse smiled. I felt so at ease that I felt like fainting. My wolf pushed me down the hall, following her heavenly scent. Finally, my wolf stopped at the far door at the corner. I turned the door knob to see my beautiful mate lying in bed. She started sniffing the air. As soon as her eyes locked with mine, a huge grin broke out onto both of our faces. I ran to her and engulfed her in a hug.

"Don't ever scare me like that again. You're in deep shit when you're out of here." I laughed, tears falling from my eyes.

"Ouch! Dustin, babe?" She said, her voice making me purr out loud.

"Yes, baby?"

"You're hurting me." I let go instantly as she lightly rubbed her chest. Then I realized she was only in a hospital gown. I growled for two reasons. One, I'm going to kill whoever hurt my baby. Two, I don't want any male seeing her so exposed. Only I should.

"I love you so so much!" She said. I smiled.

"Stella, please marry me. I can't stand being without you." More tears started falling. She gasped, tears coming from her eyes too.

"Dustin," she sighed, "we only met a day or so ago..." She trailed off. My wolf felt rejected. She must've sensed it, whenever a wolf feels or gets rejected, they put off an odor that smells like rain on asphalt.

"No, no! Dustin, I want to marry you! I just think it's too soon." She smiled a small smile.

"At least get engaged to me. We can wait as long as you like, though I would prefer sooner. Just say that you'll be mine." I gripped her hand and rubbed the spot where her ring would go.

"Yes, I'll be yours." She smiled. I hugged her again, lighter than before. Cheering came from the door.

"Geez, is everyone in love this time of year. Everyone's getting pregnant and married." Karma laughed. We all laughed along.

Snap!

We all heard a snap so sickening, it could beat the snap of Drew's neck.

Then, Karma was on the floor, motionless.

"Someone! We need a doctor!" Harry called. Several nurses came and doctors got a stretcher ready.

"What's happening?" Stella worried.

"She must have internal bleeding and fainted." The pant leg of Karma's dark grey sweatpants were drenched in bright red blood, it even seemed to glow. All the boys tried to walk through the threshold, but nurses held them back.

"She's unconscious and in a serious state. You need to stay away." A nurse said, then jogged to the stretcher holding the girl I suddenly grew attached to. For general reasons, she's the legend, but she is Stella's best friend, making it harder for me.

Briella was in James' arms again, crying. Now it was Louis' and Tommy's time to pace.

"What the heck is wrong with her?!" Tommy growled. He punched the wall with his fist, creating a hole in the wall. You could peer into the next room. An elderly man slept, unaffected by the loud noise.

Karma's POV

I was inside something. It wasn't a room or building, it was more of a thing. It was dark grey with dark black shadows. I was in my outfit still. My sweatpants were drenched in glowing red blood.

"You're giving birth." A voice spoke. I jumped, causing abdominal pain.

"Don't move, you'll hurt the procedure."

"Procedure? I'm giving birth?" I looked around, but the thing was completely abandoned.

"Don't be surprised that I can still communicate with you. I wouldn't want to miss my daughter's birth." The male voice seemed to swirl around me.

"Tommy?" I asked, hopefully.

"Guess again." I could practically hear the smirk playing on his face.

"Louis?" I squeezed my eyes shut.

"Biological, my dear, biological."

"Drew." I growled.

"Hey, sexy, miss me?" His figure appeared as a must in front of me. "Cause I just can't live without being with you." His footsteps clacked against the blank flooring.

"Get away from me." I growled again.

"You should see our daughter." Another must appeared of me in a surgery room. "You know, that gown looks amazing on you." He laughed.

"Why are you here? Why am I here?"

"Well, honeybuns, I'm simply watching over you from the great white gates of above." He said dramatically.

"I think there was a miscount at the great white gates, then." I grumbled.

He smirked. "I would never miss the birth of my own, our, child." He put his hand over his heart.

"It's not like I willingly let you get me pregnant." I said, out of words.

"Mhm that's right. I had to do all the work. But, my hard work did pay off. Look how gorgeous she is." The mist showed my newborn daughter covered in blood and gross things I don't know.

"I missed her birth." I whispered.

"No," he corrected, "you witnessed it from Luna spirit." He said. The mist faded.

"What?"

"You are Luna, by legend, of my pack. My pack is yours since, well, since I'm dead." He chuckled. "Just remember, take care of Kade, don't let her get into the wrong hands. Oh, and watch out for Mason." Those were the last words he said before the whole scene disappeared and into a bright yellow light.
