Karma's POV

I stumbled out of the car, nearly tripping over the curb. "Next time Louis, let me drive." I stepped a good distance away from the street.

"Well I couldn't let my wife, who just gave birth, drive a tank like this." He patted the hood of his beat up van.

"Yeah, it's a real catch." I swung my arm. He rolled his eyes. He took out Kade's car seat while she giggled hysterically.

"What are you laughing at, cutiepie?" He cooed, holding her up to his face. She reached out and tapped his nose. All of a sudden, he started bursting out in laughter.

"Louis?" I walked over to him.

"I think the pressure's gotten to him." Tommy stuck his hands in the front if his pockets.

"M-make it s-s-stop." He held onto his stomach. Kade began crying and I rushed over. Louis automatically stopped crying and wiped away a tear from laughing so hard.

"Shhhhhh..." I rocked her back and forth as she slowly began shutting her eyes. "Tommy why don't you put her up in the nursery yeah?" He took her and nodded.

"What the heck happened to you?" I crossed my arms.

"I don't know!" He flailed his arms. "Kade tapped my nose and then my body got all tingly like a thousand butterflies were kissing me." He smiled. I thought about it. What if Kade isn't a full werewolf. But, she couldn't be a hybrid.

"Uhhh Karma?" Louis waved his hand in front of my face.

"Hm? Oh yeah, um how about dinner?"

**

"I honestly think this will be good for her. America is beautiful and I miss it a little." Tommy suggested at the dinner table. Kade had been asleep since I that little incident earlier. Thoughts still racked my brain. There's no possible way that she could be a hybrid. Sure I'm a hybrid, but Drew was a full werewolf. We didn't exactly crossbreed. The only other possible way to get a guaranteed hybrid baby is to mate with another hybrid. That didn't happen. Maybe I need to do some research.

"Excuse me." I sat up from my seat and paced into the dimly lit nursery. The baby pink walls glowed against the yellow light of the lamp. I sat in the office chair against the desk and began typing away at the laptop, I always thought I would need it in here.

'Baby Werewolves'

I typed into Google. Over a million results popped up. But, what really caught my attention was this picture. It was a little cub with a crescent on its hind leg, and large fangs. The words were a little blurry, but readable.

'Babies created with more than half wolf in them and less than half vampire are what the gods of the night call Lybrids. When a hybrid mates with a full werewolf, the baby will either become full werewolf by the age of sixteen or have one vampire gift as a human. It is possible, but extremely rare to be both a werewolf and possess a vampire gift. They will complete their first shift at sixteen, but will not shift into a vampire at all.'

Could Kade be a lybrid?

The sound of her crying snapped me out of my haze. I gently rocked her in my arms on the rocking chair. I hushed her, but she still wouldn't stop. Maybe if I sang to her, she would fall asleep.

I always did like all of the boys' songs.

"I figured it out

I figured it out from black and white

Seconds and hours

Maybe they had to take some time" I sang, wrapping her tighter in her blanket.

"I know how it goes," Louis popped in, leaning against the doorframe. I smiled at him. Kade started to calm down and her cries turned into sniffles. Her eyes were all glossy and her tongue was barely visible between her toothless gums. I hummed as Louis sang the rest of the song and Kade was fast asleep.

"She's not normal, you know." Louis walked until he was in front of me.

"Yeah, she's a lybrid."
