Kade's POV

I looked directly at my mother's face. She may not know it, but I'm practically ten now. Werewolves mature a lot faster. They start to slow their aging around teenage years. By the time I'm thirteen, I'll be all caught up. And a month from now, I'll be just like a five year old toddler.

The nurse took me away, my mother's face fading away.

"Alright cutie, let's get you cleaned up." She washed all the nasty stuff off of me and dried me with a soft towel. She went to a dresser in the far corner. She took out a pink and brown stripes onesie and matching beanie.

"You look adorable! Now let's go see your mum!" She cooed. If only she knew. I mentally laughed.

We walked back through the halls and into the room where Mom was. Her eyes flickered to me and she didn't look as tired as before. In fact, she looked well alive.

"Hey Kade." She said in a sing songy voice.

"Is that what you're naming her? It's a cute name." The nurse smiled as she handed me over to my mom. I couldn't help but wonder what's in her thoughts. So I decided I'll tap in.

'I'm doing this for you, Drew.' She said, agitated.

I wonder who Drew is. I wonder where my dad is. Who is he? Then two boys walked in.

"Hey honey." One with an auburn hair color walked next to her and kissed her cheek. Another with brown hair kissed her other. Is one of them my dad?

The brown haired boy stared into my eyes. "Well you can certainly tell which traits she gets from Drew. I mean look, her eyes are just bugging!"

They stared in awe at my eyes. What's so cool about my eyes? Is Drew my dad? Maybe, the guy with auburn hair is Drew.

"Yeah, and look, she has your hair, Karma." The guy with auburn hair smoothed his fingers over my hair. I can't tell, but I feel comfortable around these people. But, I get a weird vibe. My mom I know I have a strong bond already with. Everyone else...not so much.

Karma's POV

I watched the sleeping Kade bundled up in my arms. Tommy slept on my right in the black chair. Louis sat slumped over with an elbow propped up on the bed, palm supporting under his jaw.

"Why Kade?" He suddenly asked.

I sighed. "Long story."

"I've got time." I turned to him. His lips slowly curled into a smirk.

"Well, when I went under, I was visited. Guess by who. We talked and he showed me Kade's birth through a mist. At the end, he told me to take care of her and watch out for Mason." I shrugged. Louis' facial expression didn't change, but his knuckles turned white.

"Sounds like something that prick would do." I pulled Kade closer to me.

"Not around the baby!" I scolded. He chuckled quietly.

"To be honest, I think it's a beautiful name." His eyes scanned over her face.

"Yeah," I smiled a small smile, "it kind of is."

"Freedom!!!!" Louis ran through the automatic doors and ran circles around an elderly man in a wheel chair. Good thing he was sleeping or else Louis would've gotten a cane beat down. I shook my head as I secured Kade's seat into the car. Her eyes were glued to a mirror which made me laugh. She's just like Zayn. My smile fell. I looked up at the blue clouded sky.

'If only you didn't side with them.' I thought.

"What are you staring at?" Harry was now at my side.

"Nothing. Just Kade reminds me of Zayn a little." I didn't realize I was crying until Harry wiped away a tear. He engulfed me in a hug and I took in his warmth.

"Alright Styles, away from my girl." Tommy said, sternly.

"Aw I thought we were all friends. You know, rainbows and daisies." Harry batted his eyelashes and pranced around.

"Idiot." He murmured. Tommy hopped in the driver's seat and me in the passenger seat.

"Excuse me, I think I'll be driving." Louis propped his hand on his hip. Tommy turned to him, not saying anything. Louis narrowed his eyes.

"Whatever." Tommy hopped out and Louis stepped in.

"Here we go!" Louis stomped on the gas and everything jolted back.
