Kade's POV
Mason and I have going out for almost a year now and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. It feels so different than I pictured it would be, finding your mate so early in life, unlike my mom.
And especially since she lived her whole life as a lie, thinking she was human, but instead she's a royal hybrid.
Mason swung our hands back and forth while we walked up the grassy hill towards a giant peach tree near a giant river full of fish. We found a clear spot without any fallen fruit and sat down. I laid my head in Mason's lap and he began to play with my hair. "Mason?"
"Mhm." He sighed, contently.
"Where do you see yourself in ten years?" I asked seriously.
"With you, of course." He brought my wrist to his soft lips that I love so much. His kisses always made me shudder and make my wolf melt. Though I hadn't shifted yet, my wolf and I have an emotional connection.
"Yes, but where do you really see yourself? What will you be doing?"
"I see us with a dozen pups running around, a giant house, and two cars, one is a mini van." I couldn't help but laugh. A dozen pups eh?
"A dozen?"
He gulped. "Or how many you want."
"I like a dozen." We both laughed and just stared at the river, totally in love.
Liam's POV
Tonight is the night. I had on the nicest polo shirt I had and the nicest slacks they had at Nordstrom. I went over the inventory in the woven basket. A bottle of champagne, toasted sour dough bread, lasagna, and chocolate cake for dessert.
"Knock knock." Karma said, coming into my room. "You're not nervous are you?" She nudged my side playfully.
"What?" I asked in a high pitched voice. I cleared my throat. "What makes you think I'm nervous?"
"Well for one you packed a bottle of shampoo while I spot a champagne bottle on the side of the tub." She pointed out. I quickly switched the two out while Karma laughed at me.
"Don't worry, Lili. There is no doubt in my mind that Tanya won't accept your proposal. I think it's really sweet, your proposal idea." She fixed the collar on my shirt.
"Thanks Karma, you're always there for me."
"Duh, you live in my house. You're like my oldest metaphorical son. Now go knock her off of her feet." She hugged me one last time before going to check on everyone else.

"Oh, watch your step." I guided Tanya down the hill and we sat in front of the big white tarp hanging from two trees on either side.
"Wow! I've never been to an outdoor movie screening before!" Tanya squealed with excitement. I smiled at how amazing she is.
I laid out the tarp and spread out all the food.
Looking around, I saw all the happiness in one area. Kade and her mate Mason were chatting with Karma and Louis. Louis was throwing air punches at Mason, probably giving him tips on boxing. Tommy came to join them, also giving pointers.
Andiana was with Edward and her parents, talking about the community college Edward will be joining and the teacher opening at a local kindergarten.
Marcel and Harry were laughing about some joke they made up. It's cool how those three triplets all guard the same group of girls. Edward with Andi, Harry with Karma, and Marcel with Kade.
Niall had been hunting one night because he was low on blood bags. He had been "stalking" his prey in the woods and lunged for it, only to topple over on top of a girl. Her name is Paisley and they've gone out ever since.
I'm genuinely happy for Niall. He's waited for his Princess and he's found her.
The hanging lights in the trees dimmed down until they were shut off and the projector began to play. "What? What's this?" Tanya asked, laughing.
Projecting from the projector were my home videos and pictures. I poured us two glasses of champagne. "My childhood."
Tanya laughed at almost everything along with the rest of the girls who also "awed" whenever a baby picture was shown. Once my childhood memories were done showing, a little clip read "My best memories" and that began the real show.
The first picture was of me and Tanya at her cousin's farm in Bradford. She had her red hair in pigtails and we had gotten muddy from messing around with the pigs. She was washing mud out of her overalls for weeks. "You took a picture of me then?" She hid her face in her hands.
"You looked beautiful, even with mud covering your face." I told her. The next clip was us in the ice cream shoppe sharing a milkshake. She crossed her eyes and I looked at her like she was crazy. Everyone laughed.
Pretty soon the slideshow ended and the nerves kicked in. I looked at Karma. She gave me two thumbs up and I big smile. I let out a giant sigh. Music started playing: Marry Me by Jason Derulo.
I grabbed Tanya's hand to stand her up. I cleared my throat.
"Tanya. Ever since I met you in that hospital, I found you intriguing. Your unnatural red hair, the freckles on your cheeks, your adorable laugh." I paused to watch her smile. "And your smile."
"You couldn't accept me at first and I thought I would be heartbroken and alone for eternity. But when you finally said yes, I knew I wanted to be with you forever until the world dies."
I got down on one knee and her hands flew to her mouth. "Tanya will you marry me?"
She cried and wiped at her tears. "Yes!" I reached for her left hand and slid on the diamond ring. The ring was a heart shaped pink diamond with a gold band. I stood up and she grabbed my face, placing a soft kiss on my lips. Everyone cheered and hugged each other. I'm so glad I'm surrounded by the ones I love.
"Looks like we're having a wedding." She said.
"Yes we are." I picked her up and spun her around, placing an even longer kiss on her lips.
