Tritannus POV
"A Minotaur horn?"A feminine voice said next to me."That's a handy weapon you've got there."
Sitting in a corner of a crowded cabin, armed with nothing except a reminder of my dead mom and a bunch of toiletries,a wimpy twelve-year old like me should have been practically invisible. Apparently not, because some one other than Luke was talking to me.
I turned around to look at the person. The girl looked about my age, though she seemed a little shorter than me. Her half-dark brown,half-golden hair was hard to miss, and she looked at me with neither a look of pity nor admiration, but there was a look of curiosity in her striking purple eyes.
"Hey, I know how you feel,"She said."Being a new person feels really awkward,I should know."
Her English sounded perfect enough, but there was something about the way she talked that was sort of different. Was it a foreign accent?Grammar mistakes?A lisp, even? Then I realized that this was kind of the same way I understood Grover cursing. She was speaking in........
"Ancient Greek?"I said warily. There had to be no way that she was that good at the language at twelve.
She chuckled softly."Unfortunately,I still haven't learned English properly since I came down to the States,so I speak in my native tongue. Chiron says I indirectly help people become better at understanding Greek."
A Greek in America? This was going to be interesting.
"When did you come?"
"To the US?About a week ago,"She said, now in English with a hint of a Mediterranean accent."I still need to learn a little more of English,it's taking more time than it should have."
My eyes practically popped out of my head."You took a week to learn a whole language, and you say it's taking longer than it should have?"
"Khloe's extraordinary that way,"A voice behind me said, and I turned around to see that it was that girl who told me that I drooled in my sleep; Annie Bell?
The girl whose name was apparently Khloe, smiled."Hey there,Annabeth. What's up?"
"Hey!"A voice who I recognized as Eric the empousa cut through the flashback. I found myself on the floor of my office,my head reeling. Lately, these blackout flashbacks had been happening a lot to me,and more that often, two particular girls, either together or apart, were part of these flashbacks. Especially that girl who was now supposed to be my assistant general.
"I'm fine,"I grumbled as Eric helped me up.
"No,you're clearly not!"Eric grunted."These blackouts are getting more frequent, and you really need to do something about it."
I looked at the pile of clothes on the floor."Who are those for?"
"That Khloe girl," He replied."You yourself told me to get them, though I don't really understand why."
I had a vague memory of telling him to do so,and I winced at the piercing pain in my head.
"Whatever,"I mumbled."Just make sure that she doesn't cause any trouble. I really don't want my sleep to be disturbed."
I just didn't want to reveal the reason why I hired Khloe- I just couldn't afford to tell anybody.

Khloe's POV
"Excuse-moi,madame?"Eric said, poking his head through the doorway."Can I come in?"
