Tritannus POV
I'm sure as Tartarus doing it!
Tartarus. That word rang in my head for what seemed like centuries. I had the weirdest feeling that I'd had an experience related to it. Then I realized what was going on.
Holy Primordials,I thought,not again.........
As I saw my very pissed off assistant draw a knife,I slipped out of consciousness and into flashback time. Who knew where I was going next............
"Percy," I heard an exhausted voice say next to me. I turned my head to see that familiar blonde girl, Annabeth, next to me with her arm slung across my shoulder. I was doing the same to her,so it seemed like we were supporting each other as we walked. I didn't really mind the fact that she called me by that god awful name Percy; I'd gotten used to it.
We walked that way across a dangerous terrain filled with large rocks, monsters and even some weird pus-embryo thingies that looked like they were hatching even more monsters. Every step I took, I felt like my life force was being sucked out of me bit by bit. The air felt like acid, and every time I breathed,it hurt.
It's slowly killing you, my conscience said. Tartarus will kill you,and even if you manage to escape, you will still be scarred.
"We have to reach the Doors," Annabeth rambled."They're waiting on the other side for us."
"Hush,"I whispered, and I kissed the girl as if it was the most normal thing in the world." Let's just avoid the monsters and find our way without getting killed."
I felt so absolutely weak,I just wanted to collapse on the spot and quit life in general. Maybe that would make it better......
It wouldn't,really,my conscience reminded me. At this point my conscience was the only thing keeping me together and I was glad I hadn't lost my mind.
Suddenly,my flashback took a turn out of the usual and shifted into a different scene. A lone figure who looked very familiar was hanging off a steep cliff as another figure snarled and tried to make it let go of its handhold. As I watched, the figure lost its grip and fell a long way down. The snarling figure looked vaguely familiar; and somehow she smelled like roses and freshly washed horses. How did I know that?
The flashback shifted again and I was standing at the banks of a river which seemed to be made of fire. The Phlegethon, I remembered, but I'd never been to this place before.
Sudden gasping sounds suddenly disrupted my train of thought as a figure literally dragged itself to the banks of the river. It scooped up a little of the fire water and drank it, shuddering as it did. The river seemed to shine a little light onto the figure, and my breath caught in my throat when I saw who it was.
"You alive there?" A voice woke me up from the flashback. I opened my eyes to meet those of Khloe's.

Khloe POV
"You alive there?" I asked the seemingly unconscious Tritannus. Admittedly, I was a little pissed; I had to lug this I-don't-know-how-much-he-weighs-but-it-sure-is-a-lot pound Supremeness up from the drakon's lair and to his office. Eric, helped me,but it still was a lot of work.
The office decoration wasn't bad. It had a sort of beachy,laid-back feel to it, one that did not describe His Supremeness so well. For some reason, he had a couch in his office,so I plopped him onto the couch and then settled myself in a space on the edge which wasn't taken up by him.
I honestly didn't know whether I turned the charmspeak on or not, because when I said those words, his eyes flew open and met mine. For one moment I could swear that I saw a hint of........... surprise? Fear? Both, maybe?
