I hung the dress up and covered it so it wouldn't be ruined before my big day.
Or, big hour.
Since I was getting married today, and only in a few hours to be exact.
It wasn't long enough to plan a huge wedding filled with people, drinks and decorations, but it was just enough as long as the people I love were there.
An hour later, I heard a knock on the door.
I ran over to answer, but only caught a quick glimpse of someone rushing inside violently. Finally, I realized Lena was sneaking in.
I sighed, a sigh of relief it wasn't someone who wished harm to me.
I saw Lena's brown hair tied up nicely into a ponytail, and a smile of sympathy on her face as a reply to my sudden fear. I smiled. It was silent for a good thirty minutes until Lena broke the silence, looking down, she began to talk.
"You ready to do this?" She smiled.
"Born ready," I laughed.
She nodded and began to walk towards the door, then opened it, screaming and cursing.
She began to pull my hair and yell, "you're gonna pay, little wolf."
Some wolves opened their door frightened, and stood their staring while others knocked on Alpha Aiden's door.
Ten seconds later, irritated, Aiden opened the door.
"What?" He shouted.
The small group of people knocking on his door pointed at us, and immediately Aiden's eyes glanced with both anger and fear.
"I'll take care of this, now gather your little ones and stay inside," Aiden said firmly.
The wolves obeyed and took cover indoors without questioning their alpha.
"Get your hands off the girl," Aiden demanded.
"Well, how about you come over here and make me, dear alpha Aiden?" Lena challenged, mocking him.
"You sure about that? Come on, kid; hand her over and we'll let you go," he snarled.
"You'll just have to come over here and get her," Lena smiled mockingly.
Aiden snarled and pounced Lena, but Lena didn't show a slight feeling of fear. Instead, she smiled.
"A witch always comes prepared," she laughed and buried a knife into Aiden's back.
Aiden grunted, and both fearfully and filled with anger, looked up at me.
"At the end of the day, we were just using you. We were going to kill you anyway, you useless-
He was cut off by another stab, this time to the heart.
His comment stung for some reason. But If I let these kind of people ruin my day, why, where would I be then? Crying on a log? I don't think so. I have a wedding to go to.
Lena took care of the people who were looking for a fight, meanwhile I got people to safety. I helped some people move on and start a new life, while others continued on their own. All were okay, whether they were moving away or staying.
I smiled, a smile of satisfaction.
Lena hugged me.
"Thanks for everything, Elena. Now come on, we have a wedding to get to!"
