I carefully unhung the dress from the closet, taking off the plastic and setting it down.
I unbuttoned my current shirt, pulled of my shorts, and put on my hoop (to make the dress appear a bit larger) then very carefully slipped it on.
I went over to the mirror and smiled.
My hair was up into a beautiful braided bun. I had a beautiful white veil hanging over my head with a beautiful diamond necklace and some glass slipper shoes. I felt like cinderella, and looked like it too.
Lena walked into the room in which I was in, and her jaw dropped.
"You look beautiful," she smiled.
That made me feel great. I actually felt beautiful too, for the first time in forever.
"Thank you," I smiled.
"Is he ready?" I asked, nervously.
She nodded and led the way.
She led me behind the door of the small chapel.
We could hear people cheering and clapping, some chewing and drinking.
"And now, the beautiful bride," the priest called.
"You ready?" Lena whispered.
I nodded and she pushed the huge doors open.
Everyone took a seat and faced me.
I began to walk in as beautiful piano music played.
Lena walked behind me, holding the part of my dress that was dragging.
Edison stood with the priest as tears rolled down his beautiful, blue eyes.
I began to tear up too.
I stopped when I was standing next to Edison and the priest.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony."
"Edison, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do," Edison smiled.
"I, Edison, take you Elena, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
"I, Elena, take you Edison, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
"You may kiss the bride," The priest smiled and stepped back.
Edison walked forward, tears falling from his eyes. He took my face in his hands, and kissed me.
It felt as if it had lasted forever.
It was the most passionate and pure kiss.
The crowd cheered and clapped.

The after party was special, something like never before.
Edison found his best man- Christopher. While I found the bridesmaids, Lena and Lily.
We danced and sang our hearts out.
The party was full of nothing but pure happiness.
Near the very end,
Edison took me outdoors.
He sat me down and told me he learned something.
"E-Elena, you're pregnant," he cried.
"What?" I shouted, looking down and grasping my belly.
He laughed joyfully, "you're pregnant!" He shouted and kissed my belly.
I laughed back and began to cry,
"We're having a baby!"
He kissed me.
"Elena Baker- you're mine. And so is this baby."
"I love you Edison, I love you a lot."
