Edison's POV:

I finished eating the third bowl of rocky road I've had in ten minutes and decided Its time I finally just move on. Maybe we can hang out today. As friends, of course, she made sure of that.

I dropped the bowl in the sink and went to change into my write t-shirt and brown vest. I already had jeans on so I just slipped into some tennis shoes.

I ran out the door and over to Elena's cottage. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Hello?" Maria smiled.

"Hi, can I speak to Elena?" I smiled back.

"She's not with you?" She asked, confused.

"Um, no."

She turned to face Elena's bedroom then turned back towards me with a concerned expression on her face, "she's not here."

I bit my lip nervously, "where could she have gone?"

"If shes not out here, theres basically no where. Unless she wasn't the one to take herself," she gasped.

"It couldn't have been! We were protecting her! You were watching her yesterday!" I shouted.

"Ed, I went to meet some friends yesterday," Maria cried.

"Why? Why couldn't you have stayed to watch her?" I shouted in anger.

"I'm sorry, Ed, I truly am," she said, letting out a sob.

"Look, its not your fault. But Its time to find her," I sighed and ran away.

I heard Maria shouting my name in the distance, but I never looked back. I don't really agree with all these parenting methods Maria is using, but she really is trying her best.

Before I left, I stopped at the alphas house. It was a rule not to disturb him, and this possibly meant my death, but this is for Elena.

I knocked quietly until Christopher walked out very angrily, "you foolish little thing," he grinned evilly and put his hands around my neck.

I struggled for air and let out a yelp, trying my best to wiggle out of his grasp.

"Wait, Elena, shes-
I mumbled weakly.

He let go and I fell to the floor, gasping and taking deep breaths.

"What about Elena?" He replied.

"Someone took her," I whispered.

He turned around and stroked his beard, "be on your way. I'll handle this."

"No," I scoffed.

He turned to face me, "excuse me?"

"No," I shouted.

He laughed and walked over to me, "I don't think you know who you're talking to."

"Come on Chris! Without me she would've been dead when we found her!"

"Found her? You stupid fool, she's missing. For all we know she could still be dead."

"Come on Chris, you know better than that," I scoffed.

He turned around and started walking away. I stood in my place.

He turned around, "well are you coming?"

I smiled and ran to catch up with him.

He got into the front seat of a big read monster truck that we had just stolen from an injured biker. I felt so bad. The biker was fine. He had already been healed, but I just couldn't stop the guilt that came with all of this.

He started his big engine and we raced off from our parking space and onto the big roads of New Orleans. I saw sights I had only ever dreamed of seeing. I stared in awe at the parades, and crowds of people with face paint and cotton candy.

"Hey kid," was my cue to be sent back into this terrifying reality.

"Yeah?"

"You really love that girl, don't you?"

"I do."

"It's not love you see everyday here at the pack. Cherish her and never let her go," he smiled for the first time.

"And I would do exactly that if she'd just let me," I scoffed.

"Don't you get it, boy? She loves you just as much as you love her."

"Then why blow me off?" I replied.

"Isn't it obvious? Her best friend is in love with you," he replied.

"So what now?" I shouted.

"Introduce Lily to someone she'll fall head over heels for," he smiled.

"Like who?"

"That, kid, is up to you."

We stopped at an abandoned junk yard.

"Why here?" I asked.

"Say hello to the property of the Luna's."

"The Luna's? Why would they have Elena?" I asked, confused.

"If you wanna save that girl of yours, stop asking questions and go see for yourself," he said, pointing to a little storage room in the back.

I nodded and we both started walking towards the little room.

He slowly opened the door. I peaked my head in and looked around.

I shook my head sadly and was about to turn around when I heard a whimper.

I ran inside to see it.

Please wake me up, please.

This can't be real.

I jumped over to Elena's pale and bloody body on the floor. She wasn't moving or breathing. I was too hurt to check her pulse, so Chris came in.

"No, no please!" I shouted, crying and hugging her body.

Christopher grabbed her hand into his and felt where her pulse was.

He slowly put it down and looked towards me.
