L E I A & H A N : An Adventurous Love Story

Ch.30

A few rebel soldiers looked at me in confusion as I stood there, just as confused. They never saw me as anything except for an "ice cold-hearted princess" so it must be a shock to them to see that I actually care about something other than politics. After awhile though, the staring became annoying and uncomfortable so I spoke up saying, "Well there is no time to waste, get to your transports!". They quickly looked away and made their way to their tasks.
I began making my way to my ship as well watching all of the rebels frantically running around trying to find their assigned X-Wings and ships. Then, I spotted the falcon while watching Han run up the ramp as it began to close. "Just in case I don't make it back". Those words kept playing repeatedly in my mind. 'He will make it back.' I said to myself, knowing that there is such a great chance that he won't.
As I was standing there, caught up in my thoughts I heard a rebel fighter say, "Ms.Organa, we must leave now.", I turned, nodded and made my way on board the ship. I quickly walked to sit down across from the General near the window, in my own private area of the ship. I did not speak to anyone as I needed time to think of the next plan in case the empire attacks.
I looked out the window, surprised to see the falcon still here and then Han came running out frantically looking at our ship. I watched him carefully, confused then he saw me and started yelling something that I couldn't understand. He waved his hands above him. He ran closer just as we began moving forward then I finally understood what he kept shouting, "Get off the ship! Get off the ship!". Then all of a sudden, storm troopers began to appear in the area while Han turned to see them too. They started shooting at him, then we took off.
Get off the ship? I was terrified to even know what that meant. I felt a dark force taking over my mind, trying to confuse reality with a nightmare. I could not fight it off no matter how hard I tried with my force powers gone. I closed my eyes, wincing in pain. 'Leia'.
I heard someone in my head say by then the dark force was gone. I looked around trying to find who was messing with my mind. Loud footsteps began to echo through out the ship just as loud screams bounced off of the walls, one after another. I looked around to try to find some place to hide but there were only so many places do hide on this ship. As I walked around frantically, hearing the footsteps approach closer, I saw a small compartment on the ground that must be used to keep large crates in. I quickly opened it up and jumped inside the closed it, staying as quiet as can be.
     The footsteps approached the room and a voice said, "I know you're in here.". A voice that haunted your mind forever, lingering throughout every part of your body. Vader. I sat as still as I could but knew even he was too smart to not find me. Tears filled my eyes as I thought about how much pain and suffering he has caused the entire galaxy. I wanted to put an end him right in the moment but knew, the time would come. How was I related to that monster?

     The lid to the compartment I was in began lifting as I tried to hold in down. It was then thrown across the ship and I slide across to hit the compartment wall. I had a bad feeling about this. "Foolish you are to think that you can hide from me.", said Vader. I looked up to him, not responding. "Bring her to the cell room.", he said to the two stormtroopers standing next to him. They reached grabbed my arms and pulled me up to the leveled ground with them and just as we began walking, the ship rocked. "Rebels.", Vader said then continued with, "Shoot down any ships in sight.". I turned to look out the window to only see X-Wings and TIE fighters flying throughout space. Explosions happening left and right. 

     All of a sudden, I saw a missile a few hundred feet away coming straight for the ship I was on. I stood there in shock knowing there was nothing I could do  to stop it. I then quickly made way for the ship door before the stormtroopers could catch me. I heard screams saying, "Don't let her get away!". I jumped right before the ship exploded into pieces. But when I jumped, there was no war happening anymore, no ship, no base, no missile. Just land so green, you would not even know this much existed in the entire galaxy. Then I bounced off the trees, landing on the green ground just as everything went black.
