"She's here!" I opened the hotel door to Nalani's appearance, and accidentally stepped on her boot.

She set her bags down on the table and we sat down on two twin beds drinking the usual coffee. One thing kept running around in my mind:

That stupid ole dare!

Trust me you would be too if you had friends like mine!

We re-watched the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' it was just too funny! Since Nalani was on a boot we didn't go on our usual midnight swim, watching a few more re-runs the question I had been dreading all night arose.

"Did we really almost forget?!" Nalani asked shockingly to Mac. Mac was confused for a second but she then figured out what she was talking about and unfortunately so did I.

"Snooze ya loose" Mac and Nalani said in harmony. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Eh, what do I have to worry about? We all know I'm the most evil here." I said with of course the evil smirk,

"What first truth or dare?" they asked. I decided I might as go with desert at the end.

"Truth." I replied without hesitation, we all know to eat desert last.

After a few hushed voices, they finally came up with something.

"First kiss. When, Where, and Who With?" Nalani asked with the familiar evil smirk.

Shoot, I'd never told anyone because, well I've never had one. But they're my bestfriends so I decided to come clean.

"When? In the future. Where? Also in the future. With? My Prince. And don't you think I would've already told you guys?" I said with an innocent smile then looked down. I guess I felt insecure since Mac and Nalani had already had theirs and I well..hadn't.

Their jaws were ajar.

"Close your mouths before you catch flies." I said laughing and they joined too.

"May I just say, how rude of you!" I said.

"Wha-what?" they both asked finishing laughing.

"I guess I meant why so shocked?" I asked with curiosity.

"Dawn really? A pretty girl like you, it's hard to believe." Mac said smiling at me, and I smiled back.

"Guessing somebody is trying to play hard to get?" Nalani said with a wink.

I just stared at her and then out of nowhere--

WHACK!

I hit Nalani with a pillow bringing some life into this party. (Plus it avoided the awkward 'first kiss' topic. Win-win situation, really)

Mac got the whipcream out of the mini fridge and started spraying it everywhere, I decided not to let good whipcream go to waste (btw I like whipcream) wherever she sprayed the whipcream I followed trying to catch every bit, next thing I know there was whipcream on my face!

I ran to get back at Nalani but we heard a loud bang against the carpet. The people downstairs were telling us to keep it down so we jumped onto the beds and looked around.

"Not cleaning that!" we all said in harmony with our hands up.

We laughed and then that question.

"So how bout that dare huh?" Mac said smirking at me.

"Ugh let's just get it over with." I mentally groaned.

To my surprise they had it planned out already and Mac spoke up.

"Kayden Rivers, from fifth period biology, know him?" Mac said with a devilish look placed on her face.

"Playboy Rivers?" I asked, a slightly queasy sensation happened to stir in my stomach as to where this dare was headed to.

"Time to date the playboy!" Nalani finished off for her as they started to laugh uncontrollably.

They were enjoying sending their bestfriend a straight ticket to hell? What lovely friends I have, yeah?

"I'll do it." I said shutting their mouths up quickly.

Honestly, how bad can it be?

"What no! Why I don't even like him or even know him!" I asked in confusion.

"Well you're always reading those romance novels, plus you thought he was sexy in the 10th grade!" Mac said trying to defend herself while still laughing.

"Mac those were the hormones talking! Not me! Plus that was softmore year! It's senior year you dumb dumb!" I replied in defense.

But I decided to give them what they want.

"I'll do it." I said seriously and that definitely stopped the laughing.

"Woah I thought it was gonna take the whole weekend to convince you Dawn, but here's the catch, you have to break up with before he breaks up with you. And you have to make him believe that you're in love with him." Nalani said stretching out the vowels in love.

"Good cause he's with James in the lobby, get dolled up." Mac winked and said.

"J-James is here?!" Nalani said in confusion but I knew she was happy.

James is Nalani's boyfriend they clicked instantly right when Nalani moved here.

"I didn't know that James was friends with Kayden.." I asked Mac.

"Neither did I until last night and then James, Nalani, and I came up with this amazing plan." she said with her devious smile.

I put on skinny jeans and a white knit oversized sweater with my go-to Ugg's.

"Going like that?" Mac asked.

"Yes ma'am." I replied slapping her arm.

We walked down to the lobby as I was walking backwards talking to Mac and Nalani asking if I really had to go through with this and--

THUMP

I hit into a hard chest. I heard Nalani and Macs giggles but just rolled my eyes. I knew it was James! I gave him a friendly hug, and released to see the one and only Kayden Rivers. Also known as the schools playboy hence the name 'Playboy Rivers.'

So that's why they were giggling! I thought to myself.

His arms were still around my waist I looked into his deep brown eyes.

Wait what the heck, I snapped myself out of the trance and let go of his muscular arms.

"Friendly are we?" Kayden asked with that famous smirk I've heard of.

This was going to be a long night.
