Dawns POV
"Dawn!" Sierrah called, more like yelled. I quickly applied another layer of mascara and tried to cram everything possible into my tiny handbag.
"Coming!" I hollered back. Even though I hadn't even gotten out've my red bathrobe.
I went to the dress side of my closet and grabbed a black pleated dress that came to my knees, fishnet leggings and spread it onto my bed.
"DAWN ANDREWS!" Sierrah called again.
I peaked my head out of the door. "Sierrah just gimme 5 minutes. " I asked with the famous puppy dog eyes.
"Dawn they're here. 3 minutes at the most. Now hurry up." Sierrah said before she left.
I went to my shoe closet and grabbed a pair of black flats and heard a knock on the door.
I opened the door with my back to it.
"Sierrah! I said five minutes!" I said frustrated trying to get mousse onto my damp hair. I flipped my hair and turned to the door.
"Oh, Kayden..I'll be down in just a minute." I stuttered.
"Take all the time, looks like you'll need it." He muttered under his breath.
"I heard that!" I replied putting a hand on my hip.
"Glad to know you aren't deaf Sweetums. Now hurry up would ya?" Kayden replied.

I sat down at the table next to Kayden and in front of Sierrah. Well someone had to break the silence and of course it was one of the Rivers.
"Dawn, you and Sierrah look much alike." Colt said with a genuine smile.
"Should I take that as a compliment?"
I asked furrowing my brows.
"Hey!" Sierrah said crossing her arms over her chest.
"As well as a compliment gets." Colt said with a smirk. Ah now I see the resemblance between the River boys.
After we ordered (I ordered my usual at Pabalinos, Spaghetti and Meatballs.) We talked about how Colt and Sierrah got to know each other.
"So how'd you two meet?" Colt asked.
I said mall the same time Kayden said hotel. I furrowed my eyebrows at him and gave him a pointed look that should've said shut up, but he didn't seem to get it. Then again, when did he ever?
"We met at a hotel." Kayden said looking to me. "Didn't we Sweetums?" He said interlocking his fingers with mine. I knew he was doing this just to make me uncomfortable.
"If you'll excuse me, I'm just going to use the ladies room. Back in a jiffy." I smiled and left Kayden's grasp.
"Jiffy? What the heck Andrews" Kayden said laughing behind me.
"I didn't ask for company Rivers." I said rolling my eyes.
"Now if you'll excuse me I'd like to get all the Kayden germs off of me." I said turning towards the bathroom.
Kayden blocked my view by putting both arms by my sides. Deja vu much?
"Kayden get off." I said sternly.
"How bout you make me." He said winking.
"Can you not!"
"Not what Sweetums?"
"Winking, and don't call me that."
"Whatever you say princess."
I rolled my eyes. I'd always wanted my someone special to call me princess and have these cliche moments. But with Kayden? I laughed at my own thoughts.
"What's so funny princess?" Kayden asked.
"You." I innocently smiled. "Now please treat your princess and get off her." I said trying to push him off.
We were in an awkward silence for a bit. His playful smirk was there until his eyes fell to my lips. I decided to have him with it.
I came close to his lips and then to his ear.
"Kayden.." I whispered.
"Hmm" He answered.
"The kids are waiting." I said hearing the smirk in my own voice. I let go of his grasp and turned to him.
"Kayden behave yourself. We're in a restaurant." I came close to his ear again. "I'm not one of your cheap whores either. I'm a princess hello." I innocently grinned and walked back to our table.

"Thanks for the dinner Kayden, bye Colt." Sierrah said and kissed Colts cheek. She went to her room. I got out of the car and said my thanks until a hand grasped my wrist.
"Can I talk to you." Kayden asked.
I sighed. "I suppose." I led him to the living room.
"Uh..it's fine we can just talk out here." Kayden said pointing outside.
"fine." I gave in because I was too tried to argue.
"I promised myself something." Kayden started to say.
"Okay. So that's what you brought me out in the cold for?" I asked annoyed.
"Is somebody on their time of the mon-" Kayden drawled.
"Shut up! Just continue."
He signed and took my hand into his and wrapped his free hand around my waist.
"I should get back to Sierrah." I said turning.
"what was that for, why'd you kiss my cheek?"
Kayden looked defeat. Then he stuttered. "Well you are my girlfriend aren't you?" He finished with a smirk.
I walked to my door and turned back. "Goodnight Kayden." I said rolling my eyes.
"Bye Sweetums!" Kayden replied.
"Didn't I tell you to stop!" I said.
"Didn't I tell you I don't listen." He said smirking.

Kayden's POV
"So what'd you think of Sierrah?" Colt asked breaking me from my thoughts.
"Huh." I said back nonchalantly.
"Sierrah.."
"Oh well I don't know, why? Are you serious about her?" I drawled.
"Yeah because Sierrah is sweet and different." Colt answered. I was shocked but glad he was handling his life in a different direction than mine.
"What happened, you look almost upset?" Colt asked.
"Nothing." I brushed off. When something really was bothering me. I thought tonight would be the night I stole Dawns first kiss. But she had turned and planted one on her cheek.
Well Dawn Andrews, this has become a mission and I plan to end it successfully.
