I was packing up the last of my things at the hospital. It was now Friday. My trip had been extended to California since Lucas had to catch up on work. Lucas insisted on me coming to NYC but I declined and told him I'd be better off here, and plus. It was just for a week. My phone rang to a specific bell indicating it was,

"Chelsea." I smiled as I picked up the phone.

Chelsea had changed so much since high school. No not in physical appearances, her inner self. I was skeptical and sure this wasn't the Chels I knew in high school. At one point she was so nice I tried to be rude and break her giddy act. Did it work? Can you eat without gaining a bit of fat?

No.

To say I was shocked would be the understatement of the year. Chelsea had matured ever since she had Kailee. Now, Kailee. She was literally pop rocks in human form. She has the most funniest personality I've ever seen in a five year old. Kailee and I bonded fast, I felt like an older sister to her. You know, the kind to spoil her behind her mother's back.

Chelsea left for New York, Wednesday. I convinced to let Kailee stay with me until my flight to NYC and so that we could bond. I would go to the hospital for about four hours then go to Chelsea's (and Kayden's) large penthouse paying the nanny with the money Chels left me for the nanny, butler, emergencies, etc.

I told Chels I'd meet with her in NYC with an afternoon flight, with Kailee.

"Dawn? Hello?" I heard Chelsea's voice and felt a buzz on my cheek, but ignored it deciding to check it later.

"Hmm. Oh, sorry. Right here, Chels." I spoke.

She lightly chuckled and I could just imagine her shaking her head at me through the phone, "I was just going to say Kailee is going to be at a friends house, I texted you the address. Did you get it?" Chelsea said through the phone.

"Lemme check."

I went to my messages and saw an address putting it on the map on my phone. The house was only seven minutes away.

"Yeah, got it."

"Great!" Chelsea chirped. I heard a few muffled voices before Chelsea spoke, "See you tonight!"

"Chelsea I was actually gonna take a rain check for toni-" I was cut off by Chelsea's demanding voice.

"No excuses darling, see you!"

"Isn't cutting people off my thing." I raised a brow even though I knew she couldn't see me.

"Stop changing the subject! Now I'm hanging up before you can get in another word! 9 sharp!" Chelsea said before the line cut off.

Cutting people off is still my thing.

"Hi, I'm looking for Kailee?" I smiled at the maid as she nodded and invited me in.

The house was as big as mine--I mean my parents. It had modern decor everywhere in sight. I was supposing because of the teens sitting on the couch reading 'That's So Fab' fashion magazine, well two teens and one reading 'Business Bachelors; Taken or Not.' It was always the teen years when you wanted to be up to the status quo.

"Kailee, your mother is here for you!" The maid called out to the empty staircase reminding me of the on in my parents house.

I saw Kailee slowly walking down the steps before she ran and jumped at me attacking me with a 'Kailee-hug' I like to call it.

"Jess, this is not my mother. This is my bestfriend!" Kailee told the maid, whose name I'm supposing is Jess, in all seriousness.

Jess smiled brightly at me and shook her head.
