I intensely stared at the stranger who had just bought me a champagne. Classy and cute.
He took slow steps near me with a genuine smile planted on his face and held out a hand to help me up, now staring at me intently. "What's a pretty woman like you doing all alone?" The stranger asked. I could instantly tell he wasn't from here, he didn't have an accent.
"What's a good looking person like you talking to a girl like me?" I almost instantly replied. I usually ignored the guys who approached me. I guess, it was the champagne. Yeah, that's it. Blame it on the champagne.
He kept his gaze on me not breaking away from my face. I furrowed my brows suddenly feeling self conscious and brushed my hand over cheek. "I'm sorry. Is there something on my face?" I asked embarrassed and reaching for a napkin when his hand hovered mine. Did I mention his eyes were really grey?
He regained himself and took his warm hand off mine, "No, I'm sorry. You just-" He ever so slightly chuckled. It was adorable. Okay, I sound like I'm in high school again. "Never mind."
He averted the awkward conversation by bringing me to the dance floor. I've heard the stories about; The Worst, The Best, and The Seducers/Grinders on the dance floor. I'm neither. Probably, 'The Worst' if leaning close to anything. I kept Cleo's words in mind:
'Just move to the beat, and if that doesn't work, sway your sexy body in ways never imagined before.'
Pfft, Cleo and her crazy imagination.
Ironically, a familiar tune came through the blasting the speakers. 'Headlines' by Drake I think.
How I know that? Well let's just say that whenever Cleo throws a party and I try my fastest to leave, I hear Cleo's favorite song blasting through the speakers before I squeeze my way through the drunken 'young adults.'
Pfft. Young adults my foot.
I started to see how easy going the stranger was. I decided to let my subconscious take over for once. My mind is now shutting down in..

I swayed my hips to the lyrics getting closer to the stranger who smelled like vanilla. Mmm vanilla. I felt another body grinding against my hips and quickly and subconsciously moved closer to the stranger. I looked up to him biting down on my bottom lip to see him giving me a half chuckle/smile.
I backed away a few inches putting space so we could dance freely. I put one arm up to my head slowly bringing it down and swaying my hips. One shot couldn't hurt right?
Well I was wrong, and how wrong I was.
I was now dancing on top of a table like you see on the movies chugging down tequila shots.
"Chug! Chug! Chug!" I heard the crowd cheer on.
And that's what I did.
Where is Stranger? Oh, well, I have a feeling he'll come back. Or maybe it's the alcohol.
"Josh! I leave her with you for two minutes and she's drunk out of her mind?!" I heard the stranger yell at the other stranger who's name is Josh.
"Josh.." I trailed off. I wrapped my hands around Josh's neck. "Do you prefer, Joshie? Or Joshua?" I asked him with a toothy grin.
"Joshua." He answered back casually smirking. The stranger, whose name I still hadn't gotten pulled me towards him. "Josh." He growled at Joshua.
"Somebodies cute when they're angry!" I flicked his nose.
