I opened my eyes to the once blurry surroundings and familiar eye letting Gramps' words replay in my head once again.
'Your answer will be the first thing you see when you wake up.'
I open my eyes and sit back onto the plush headboard. I take his hand in mine and smile at him. He's always been my answer and now I know for sure. No doubt, no confusion.
"Good morning." I said with a bright smile.
"Well, aren't you chipper for being awake before the birds are." He said with an amused expression.
"Suppose I am." I smile looking around. The big window portrayed Monte Carlo's dawn sky. The upper sky being a navy blue blanket and the lower sky being a light blue, "Where'd everyone go?"
"We have an early flight to Paris, everyone's packed up and ready to go. I packed your bags so we're ready to go whenever you are." He said as he stood up to leave.
"I'll be down soon." I said as I headed to the en-suite.
"Oh and hey." I said to catch his attention before he left. He threw his head over his shoulder as I spoke.
"I love you, Lucas. Don't you forget it." I said because he was my answer, and always has been.
"I wouldn't think of such a thing, I love you too." Lucas smiled before shutting the suites door behind him.
After a quick shower - and by quick I mean twenty minutes worth - I wore comfy but elegant enough clothes for the plane ride to Paree. I grabbed my bags by the window. The sky was now illuminating yellow and orange all over. It was the prettiest thing I've ever seen. The sunrise.
As I jogged quickly to the elevator with my rolling dufflebag I reached the jet moments later to my impatient friends and a bright Lucas. And he was calling me chipper?
Zoe strutted over to me, yes strutted. Before speaking.
"Where's Kayden?"
I was taken back by the seriousness in her voice, "Morning to you too, friend."
Zoe rolled her eyes and sighed before she let a sad expression set on her face, "Did you scare him off last night?"
I stood there dumbfounded, "How'd you-"
Zoe laughed before smirking, "God gave me these ears for a reason, sweetie."
Zoe grabbed my arm before letting me get another word in, "Now come on. We have to get to France!"

"Everyone, get a schedule!" Nalani called out passing half-pieces of paper to everyone. Really, I'm not shocked. Of course Miss Valedictorian would plan out our one day in the beautiful Paris.

Mac, Zoe, and Chelsea, all went to Victoria Secrets about an hour ago something about lingerie. That's about when I zoned out.
