Chapter 40

Luke's Pov

I woke up to no Emma in bed. She must already be downstairs. I walked in the washroom to freshen up. I went to go change, i noticed that my sweat shirt was gone, Emma must be wearing it. I walked downstairs. Emma was watching TV. I walked and sat down beside her. I kissed her cheek.

"You look very cute in my sweater" i told her

"Ohhh thanks Luke" she said

I lay down in her lap, she started playing with my hair.

"Emma where is everyone?" i asked her

"They all went out, harry told me to stay home and spend our last day together" she told me

"Then let’s not waste a perfect day babe" I told her

I raised my head from her lap. We both got up, 

"I guess I’m already changed" i said

"I guess i am too" Emma said

She looked adorable in my clothing. 

We walked out; it was cold, but not the cold. Emma and i walked to the park. Kids were making snowmen, having snowball fight and other winter stuff. Emma and i sat down. I noticed someone. John. We walked up toward us. 

"You're looking sexy today Emma" he said

He totally ignored the fact that i was beside him. 

I got up

"You talking to her" i said

"Yeah man” he said

"Leave her alone bro" i said

"Says who?" he said

"Her boyfriend" i said 

Anger built up in me. 

"Ohhh the boyfriend trying to protect her" he said

"Leave her alone" i said

My hands turned in to a fist. 

"Or what" he said 

I punched him. 

"You asked for it" he said

He punched me in the face.

Emma's Pov

"Leave him alone John" i yelled

"Oh the girlfriend sticking up for the boyfriend" he said

I kicked him in the nuts and took Luke hand in to mine and ran. We both ran, i bumped in to harry. 

"Hi guys" harry said

"Dad" i said

"Run" Luke Yelled

"Why?" harry asked Confused

"John" i said

The 3 of us ran, we got in to Harrys car and drove home. 

"What happened guys?" harry questioned us

"John and Luke got in to a fight" i said

"Over what?" he said

"Emma" Luke said

"Luke you have a huge mark on your face." i said

Lukes face was red and bruised. Harry took us home. 

I took Luke inside. I took an ice pack from the freezer. I lightly put it on Luke’s cheek. 

He screamed in pain.
