(Randy's POV)

Backstage our dressing room was busy and stressful. We had stage crew coming in and out and every time the door opened I feared that it would be Tanner. Justin said my fears were unnecessary and that even Tanner couldn't be stupid enough to come looking for the four of us when he was already injured and outnumbered.

Justin's grandfather came by once to wish us luck and I hesitated before saying hello. I had known him for many years and I had nothing but respect for him.

"Randy - get over here!" he exclaimed, locking me in a hug and showing that no love had been lost. My mom didn't come by but she had sent so much food to the room that strangers were stopping by just to eat.

As time went on the people in the room lessened and soon it was just the four of us again. Ben was running around the room announcing that he couldn't sing because he was, "Too full of cheesecake!" and I stared at the television in complete and utter fear. The show was being aired live and I could now see the large audience waiting for me. Rob and Justin were both fairly calm, more interested in discussing what had happened in the library then watching the show air.

We had a long wait before the performances even started and seeing as we were to go on last, our wait was the longest. First they aired Thursday's episode and showed what all groups the groups had been up to. The producers were careful to avoid showing clips of each group's songs and they didn't give anything away to the audience or to the judges.

They showed a diary interview of Rob where he talked about working with me, "I know he doesn't want to be here but we all like him. He's a funny guy"

"Whose that? Oh - hi!"

Justin had opened the dressing room door to see Quinn staring back "Is he okay?"

"Yeah - he's right here"

Quinn had never talked to Justin before and I could tell that it was uncomfortable for her being there alone. I stood up to greet her myself.

"I destroyed the security tapes" she told me "Well - I got someone to destroy them. Rachel told me that I needed to..."

"Thanks" Justin and I said at the same time. Neither of us had thought that far ahead.

"Want some cheesecake?" Rob asked.

Justin told her to get in now before Ben ate the final three pieces.

"Oh - okay - so it's fine if I stay for a little while?"

"Course" Justin nodded.

She sat down beside me and Rob got her a piece of cake. Quinn looked very beautiful. More beautiful then she normally did. I didn't know anything about hair or make up, I just knew that Quinn was very good at it.

"This is delicious"

Ben warned her from afar that she needed to take breaks in between bites of cheesecake or she would develop 'cheesecake cramps' like he had.

Ignoring the fact that Ben was doing squats to ease his stomach pain I focused my attention on Quinn.

"I was so worried about you... he was hitting your head"

"Did you watch the end?" I asked insulted. My pride didn't want her to think that i had got a total ass kicking.

"Well yes. But Tanner's not really my concern is he? You are"

Sweetly, she smiled at me.

"So what was it that you were burning?"

Quinn's question caught Justin's interest and he looked up to await my response. I liked Quinn and I trusted her completely but this wasn't my story to tell. Those photos were Justin and Selena's business, not to be shared or talked about. That was whole reason why I had burnt them.
