(Rachel's POV)

Justin made me really proud that night.

I knew him only as Justin my friend and rarely did I ever see him as Justin the superstar. But he was a superstar to Randy and Ryan, and he was their saving grace. He walked into the studio calmly and delegated effectively.

Ben, Rob and Harry all came to help but so did Samantha, Quinn, and Monet. I wasn't thrilled about Monet being there but I was never going to force Justin to turn away another helping hand. She was Ryan's sister and her intentions were only good.

"We don't need it be great - they are going to be disqualified anyway. We just need something good"

Justin was right. We didn't have time to make them winners but we had time to save Randy and Ryan from public embarrassment.

"Who needs tea? Who needs coffee?"

Seeing as Quinn and I were little help musically or lyrically, we stuck to keeping everybody hydrated and fed. Quinn also had the power to keep the studios open past closing time and that was crucial since we were all in for a long night.

"Can I have a scotch?"

"Shut up Justin"

The vibe in the room was good and if I didn't know any better I would have assumed that we had all gathered there simply to have fun. Ben was attempting to teach Samantha defensive football tackles while Harry lectured us all on the power of the 'Idiot cape'.

Rob told me humorous stories about the language barriers he had faced with his group this week and Monet and Quinn shared deep conditioning shampoo recommendations.

The environment was cheerful but productive too.

"Okay the song is written" Justin noted, "Now the music..."

Everything moved fast and soon the mass amount of help was unnecessary. There were more people then tasks to be done and the studio turned into a mixture of conversation and music.

Justin worked with Ryan and Randy on the guitar to quickly teach them some music that would aid to their performance and the rest of us just lazed around.

The song wasn't elaborate; it was relaxed and cheerful. Sitting down on the stage and playing the guitar would fit it well.

"Your brothers very talented"

Monet took a seat besides me on the couch that Quinn and I were sharing. Quinn was fast asleep on the arm of the chair and unable to give me a reason to leave so I was stuck talking to someone I had recently hit.

"Thank you..."

Monet didn't seem as petty and condescending as she had that last time we spoke, so I tried to remove the scowl from my face.

"Ryan is talented too..."

"Thanks"

I wondered why Brian wasn't with her but decided that I didn't need to ask. She couldn't bring him here now that he sat at Tanner and Oliver's table. Justin would never allow it.

"You know, we are more alike then you think Rachel..."

"We are?"

"Yes. We both have brothers who are involved in these stupid turf wars..."

I supposed that she was right.

"I had to break up with Brian. Did you know?"

"No..."

"It was for the best. He turned on Justin and..."

"Ryan wants to be friends with Justin..." i continued the sentence.
