(Randy's POV)

You can learn a lot about a pack of people by how they behave. People are a lot like wolves. We show our allegiances and loyalties in the way that we move and the places that we choose to sit. Movement tells so much.

A stranger could look in on our dinner table and work out who was our leader, who was our weak, and who was our least trusted. It was so easy to do. You just had to look at where we all sat.

Justin always sat at the center of our table. Conversation was always directed his way. Justin was complimented, praised, and never forgotten. Anybody watching could see that Justin was our pack leader and that to walk with us you had to walk behind him.

Rachel was always sitting on Justin's lap. She was seen as both a weak and a strong player. She was too weak to walk on her own but so strong and influential that she sat closest to the leader. He adored her. That love gave her power.

Blaine was always seated on the brink of our table. He was close enough to be heard but he wasn't close enough to be trusted. If someone is sitting on the brink of anything then you can pull them in or you can push them out. Nobody wants to be on the brink. The brink is a threat in disguise.

Ben and I normally sat on Justin's right and left. We were stronger then the others. If someone came after him then we instinctively stood up first. An outside could see that he trusted us the most. We were nowhere near the edge of the table. We were right in the center. The chances of us being pushed out were slim.

As stable as my place at our table was I couldn't help but worry. I was one of the most trusted, which meant I was one of the most watched. I was too close to be overlooked and too valuable to be lost.

Justin saw and spoke to me at every meal. That meant that he saw Quinn too.

Quinn was the back stone in a sea full of white. Justin noticed her. He could see her lack of loyalty. He knew that she wasn't on board and he could sense that she wasn't a friend of his. I knew that if Quinn didn't stop asking questions Justin would ask me to get rid of her. He would tell me that she was all wrong for me and I would have to tell him that he was right.

"Has he given Rachel back her phone yet?"

"I don't know"

"He should. If they made up then it's only right"

"I'm sure he will"

"There was no reason for him to take it in the first place..."

"Quinn..."

"Randy - it's wrong!"

"Please, we are at dinner..."

"Why are you acting so ignorant about all of this?"

"I'm not ignorant. Look at them. Do they look unhappy to you?"

Rachel was buried in Justin's shoulder. He was talking to her quietly and sneaking her fast kisses here and there. They looked anything but unhappy.

"She sold her soul"

"Quinn... stop..."

"She did!"

"Stop it!"

We were sitting way to close to Justin and I risked Quinn being overheard.

"This is not normal!"

"Stop..."

"I won't stop it! Not when I don't know!"

"Don't know what?"

"Where I stand!"

I shook my head and stood up, "Get up. Come with me"

We were at Bloody Mary's for dinner and the others were too busy enjoying the band and the good food to notice our leave. I had to get Quinn out of there. I had to calm her down before her mouth got her in trouble.
