Justin was one of the smartest people I had ever known, and I looked up to him when it came to making decisions. Everything he did was well thought out and calculated. You couldn't fool him, you couldn't manipulate him, and he always made the right decision.
That's why it was so difficult for me to doubt him now, even when his decisions seemed stupid and weak, and his rational seemed driven by nothing but love.
"This isn't going to work...."
"Yes it is,"
"No it's not. Randy, I have to go and get her"
"Are you kidding me?"

It was hard for me to work out what was getting to Justin the most. Either he really didn't think this plan would work, or he really just couldn't stand listening to Rachel cry on the phone. Because he had his reasons for going back up and getting her, they just didn't make sense to me. I thought he was wrong.

"No it's not. I've been tough on her before Randy. And all that did was make her sneak off and find Oliver. She doesn't like pressure. She doesn't like being forced into things. And she's stubborn as hell. I've got to go and get her"
"But -"
"When she's ready to talk to me, she will. But for now I just have to comfort her,"
"Justin - she will never talk to you if you keep giving in"
"That's not true"
"It is true. She avoids things,"
"No - that's just how it looks. But she faces things. She just deals with things really slowly. She likes to take her time. And that's why you've got to be gentle with her - you can't be tough. She hates it"
