"A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent." Douglas McCarther.

(Rachel's POV)

I thought I'd sleep more peacefully once we got back to the ski house. I thought I'd be away from all of my hauntings and haunters. But I was wrong. Now she was in my dreams. We were together and we were looking for something in my old Ross hotel room. Something was lost and that lost item was stolen. I don't know how I knew that, I just did.

"Don't end up like me," she kept saying. "People always protect the baby"

It was the first time I had heard her voice and I soon realized that her voice was mine.

"Don't end up like me. People always protect the baby,"

I didn't stop to ask her what she meant. I was too busy searching. I was feeding off of her energy and she was playing with mine. She was making me feel panic and she was making me scared.

Something was lost.

Maybe many things were lost.

And those lost items were stolen.

When I woke up the constant sound of knocking welcomed me.

"Randy..." Justin murmured, "Go and get the door...."

"You go and get the door..."

"Rachel.... Go and get the door,"

"Someone's stealing from me..."

"What?"

The knocks continued, growing louder and louder.

"Seriously.... Justin, go and answer the door..."

"No - I'm still tired,"

'Yeah? Well I have a black eye. So I win"

"Really?" Justin looked over, "Oh my god.... I feel like shit now,"

"Then go and get the door!"

"No" Justin stood, "I'm going to get you ice"

"I don't need ice,"

"Yes you do"

"No I don't"

"I'm getting you freaking ice!"

"And I'm answering the freaking door!" I shuffled up too, "Because that knocking is annoying!!"

Justin and I took the stairs together.

I was surprised that my mom hadn't answered the door already. She always woke up early in the mornings, and I could smell pancakes coming from the kitchen.

"Oh... Hi Mr. Mitchell's"

But when I opened the door I soon realized why she had ignored the knocking. One of our grumpiest and oldest neighbors stood in the doorway, and he didn't look happy to be there. Gary Mitchell's was known for having a temper and he was also known to be a little on the crazy side.

"I'm missing my baby Jesus!!"

"Pardon me?"

"My baby Jesus is missing!!"

"Your.... Your baby Jesus?"

"Yes! Somebody has sabotaged my Christmas nativity scene!"

"Oh...."
