(Randy's POV)

Monday's first studio meeting with Taylor and Bonnie was miserable and loud. Not only was Bonnie just as odd and bizarre as the rumors had suggested, but Taylor was a severe control freak incapable of relinquishing any power or creative control.

She must have slapped Justin's hand one thousand times as he tried desperately to contribute to the plan sheet, reaching for the pen and attempting to scribble down 'free time'.

This only resulted in Taylor adding more work to our already long and unnecessary schedule, calling for night meetings and earlier morning lessons.

"So as team leader..." Taylor began.

"You're not the team leader"

"Justin - be quiet. So as team leader..."

"I don't remember having a vote? Do you Randy? Did you vote for her? Or did you vote for highlighter sucker over here?"

Bonnie spent the whole meeting sucking on a fluro green highlighter with her eyes wide and her legs crossed up on her chair. Whenever Taylor asked her for possible song suggestions Bonnies reply was always the same. She proclaimed that we should stand on the stage together silently to make a stance against "Grasshopper slaughter".

"What the hell is that?" Justin asked.

Bonnie then proceeded to call Justin a racist, something he didn't take to lightly.

"Grasshopers aren't a race!"

"Yes they are"

"No they're not!"

"Calm down! I have plenty of ideas" Taylor spun.

Given that Taylors last group had sung about stars and glitter I wasn't expecting much from her in terms of ideas.

I was right to doubt her. Taylor's ideas were corny, predictable, and everything that the judges had slammed her for last week.

Justin shot down each and every one of her suggestions.

"A famous boy meets a fan and falls in love with her?"

"No,"

"A shy girl falls in love with a popular student!"

"No,"

"A slow ballad about the perfect first kiss!"

"No!"

Frustrated, Taylor flicked Justin's hat off of his head and told him to take off his 'idiot hat'.

The idiot hat comment became a common saying that Taylor repeated throughout the whole meeting, making Justin resent her more and more each time.

I did my best to defend him but he was as stubborn as Taylor was and he argued back with her each and every time.

The first meeting ended there, with no topic, no ideas, and no progress. After lunch things were no better, and our biggest breakthrough occurred when Bonnie bit Justin's elbow and he called her a psycho.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

"I need email addresses, phone numbers and room numbers"

Taylor wanted to have complete contact with us at all times.

And she did - The next morning Justin arrived at breakfast swearing up a storm.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"She called me twelve times last night! Twice to tell me that our last performance was weak!"

"Aye!" Rob shot up "We won didn't we?"
