(Randys POV)
On Monday morning I fell out of bed with a splintering knot in my stomach.
I couldn't eat so I skipped breakfast entirely. I was sure the last thing my stomach needed was food. I walked with Blaine to the studios early and hoped that he could settle some of my nerves before the first session started. Blaine was calm, but Blaine had no reason to be nervous. Nobody hated him.
"Not only am I going to die," I sighed, "But I'm going to die with a stupid theme. Peter Pan. Really?"
We had been given the week's theme the night before and it was bad, really bad. I had to make my comeback with a song about a green flying child who wore a pair of tights.
"I don't know why you're stressing" Blaine said, "They won't kill you"
"They will murder me..."
"They can't. Four of you have to compete on Friday. Without you they get disqualified"
"Trust me, they don't care about any of that"
They had me cornered, alone, and three on one. That was all that mattered to them.
"At least you'll die in a pretty awesome studio" Blaine said, stopping to sit down on the couch besides me.
The Ross Hotel was connected directly to the Ross theatre and recording studios. The studios were big, decked out, and they withheld incredible industry level equipment.
Each team had a soundproof studio to work in and a scheduled time slot to rehearse in the theatre. Normally I would have been happy, but soundproof rooms didn't sound all that appealing to me, not when I would likely be screaming for help.
"Justin's going to love this" I said, "He's going to make this week a living nightmare..."
"You think so?" Blaine frowned, "He doesn't come across that way to me. He seems pretty laid back"
"He is – unless he hates you"
"How do you know that he hates you?"
"History"
"Old history?"
"Old history that's still new"
"Why's it still new"
"Because it was never resolved"
"It could be," Blaine said, "He looked kind of choked up watching that interview of William last night..."
"That's because he loves Will – Will was his brother"

"And so were you?"
"Maybe..." I said. A long time ago"
"Okay..." he backed off, "Well heads up, because two of them are coming our way"
I watched as Rob and Justin came sprinting down the hallway. They didn't see us, they were too busy laughing and calling out to each other.
"See" Blaine grinned, "They're in a good mood!"
"They are fighting each other..."
"It's a friendly fight..."
Justin had Rob in a headlock and he was dragging him to the floor.
"I'm going to die..."
"No... choke maybe but... not die..."
Justin ended up letting Rob go and then they entered our assigned studio space together. They didn't look back.
"Go join them," Blaine suggested "Then you have some time to talk to them before Ben gets here"
