The heart monitor beeps and her heart rate stays high. She's ok. I still have her. The doctors words fly through my mind as I lay on Luke's lap, my eyes closed. He told me to rest because "I've had a long night." But I wanted to keep an eye on her. But he insisted that he'd be fine and so I let him take care of her.

"Are you Mrs. Thirlwall?" The doctor asks the second the double doors fly open. I get immedietly and I nod my head, "Yes, that's me." I answer. I try to read his face but I couldn't get through his blank expression. Where was this headed? Is she ok? Is she gone? What happened in there? All these questions seep into my mind as I wait for him to end this dreading silence. This was all too much for me.

Luke stands behind me. I grip his hand tightly as he presses his lips against my hair. Finally the doctor smiles, "She's ok." Those two words made my heart skip a beat. Tears of joy leave my bloodshot eyes as Luke squeezes me tightly. She's ok. She's still here. Thank god. I still have her. I have my baby. "Oh my god. Thank you."  The doctor gives me a smile and I walk up to him, my arms wrapping around him as I let my tears fall from my cheeks. "Thank you so much," I tell him. "You saved her." I say. But he chuckles as he shakes his head. Huh?

"It wasn't me dear."

"Then who?" Luke asks him. The double doors fly open and out comes, the most surprising person of all. "Harry?!" I say. What? When? I let go of the old man and looked at Harry with wide eyes and the most shocking feeling ever, "He saved your wife's life." Turning around, my heart beats and Luke is as shocked as I am.

"You... you saved J-Jade?" I ask. He smiles at me softly and drives his hand through his curly black hair. He nods, "It was surprising for me too," he says.
"I know I've been a dick these past few years but when they wheeled her in... I just thought about it. I nearly had her killed once. I didn't want to be the reason why she didn't live another day. So I guess this was my way of saying sorry to her and to you especially. I'm sorry. Maybe now we could get rid of this anger towards each other. Would you want that?"

"With what you did for her today there's no way I could say no," I smile softly. "But that doesn't mean Jade would approve of us being friends while she holds anger against you. At least wait till she wakes up. By the way... when will she wake up?"

"That's the part we haven't mentioned yet," The older man says. "She won't be awake for a while." he adds.

"Is she in a coma?" I ask.

Harry nods slowly with an apologetic smile, "At least she's ok," I smile. "It's better than losing the one I love. When she'll wake up is indefinite but no words  from me could thank her saviour." I say. He smiles and Luke clears his throat. He steps beside me and looks at Harry, "Not saying I forgive you for all the shit you made Perrie and Jade go through," he says. "But thank you for today. Gods knows I'll lose my damn mind if Perrie did anything to herself if she lost Jade."

"Luke." I croak. My eyes open and I look at the blue eyed boy. He smiles, "Yeah princess?" he asks. My fixuate themselves onto Jade then back at Luke, "Can you bring me home?"

"You're not going to stay here?"

"I mean I'd love to but I have work again tomorrow and I need all the rest I could get." I explain. He shakes his head, "No. Don't go to work. Stay at home and have a good rest. It's already three am baby girl. You wouldn't be able to do things properly." He was right. I can't force myself to work while I'm this tired. "Can you stay the night?"

"Of course."

"What about Selena?"

"She'll be fine. I'll give her a call. Get your things and we'll get going. I'll wait for you outside. We can come back later when you're all good."

I nod, "Thank you for being with me."

"That's what best friends are for aren't they?," he chuckles. "I'm here whenever you need me Perrie. You'll never lose me. I promise you that."

I yawn heavily and I pull the covers up to my shoulders. I rest my head onto Luke's chest as I remain awake, thinking of what Harry had done for me today. As much as I hated him for nearly getting her killed today was different. Would she be in that hospital bed recovering from surgery if it wasn't for Harry? Would I have lost her if wasn't Harry that did the operation.
It's a miracle really. All my worries have faded and they remaining weight on my shoulders had been lifted off of my body. All I had to do was visit her as much as possible until she wakes up.
