One month later (A/N:Don't hate me for the time jump. This just means, I don't have to have as many filler chapters.)
For the past month Ryan had been helping me with my fear every day. It was slow progress but I was able to sit in the car and not freak out, but I asked Ryan to try taking me for a drive today. I was freaking out. I couldn't do this. What the fuck was I thinking when I asked him.
"Cas." Ryan interrupts me. "Penny for your thoughts." He says.
"uhhhhhh."
"You don't have to do this you know. It's only been a month." Ryan says, guessing what I was thinking.
"I want to." Deciding to change the subject I say. "The cricket world cup started a few days a go right?"
"Yeah, Brandon organised a night for our team to get together and watch the a match against Australia. It'll start around 6:00pm live, this Saturday. But we head there after the our cricket match. I meant to ask, you coming?" His eyes darkened when he said Brandon's name.
"Yeah I asked Vi. You're going right?"
"Course. It's at Brandon's which is only a two blocks away from our house. So we can walk. But I'm pretty sure we can't walk back in the middle of the night. So we can just crash at his house." He seemed unhappy when he said that, but I just ignored it.
"Cool."We reach home and I see his parked car outside the front. "You know what, let's go inside first." I say trying to procastinate.
"Cas. Stop trying to procastinate. Come on." I nod and open the door quickly pulling the seat belt across me. Ryan hops in next to me and turns the key in the car. The engine roars making me jump in fright. Oh fuck, my heart was already racing.
"We don't have to drive today. You can just sit and...." I cut him off.
"No. I need to do this. Today." I breath in and out and I feel my heart quickening already. I hear the gears change and I force my eyes shut.
"Tell me to stop and I will okay. Seriously?"
"Yep." I feel the car move and I bite my lip and clench my fists hard to stop myself from screaming out. I open my eyes as he drives towards the end of the street.
"Cas?" Ryan asks me quickly turning his head back towards the road. I hear another car screech off in the distance. It sounded like the accident.... I try to stop my fear take control, but I can't .
"Stop, now. Please." Ryan turns the car off and quickly parks. He turns to me but I've already opened the car door. I put my feet out, my head in my hands breathing fast.
*Flashback*
Naomi giggled loudly, 'I can't believe you talked back to a teacher.'I was walking back to the car after a family night out at Spice Traders. My stomach was celebrating the good food. No one could make curry like Spice Traders could well maybe my mum.
' I know and I can't believe he sent me to sit at the side bench' I replied laughing. I pulled open the BMW's door and slid next to my sister. I didn't bother about seatbelt. Who needed them anyway. My dad started the car.
'So since when were you naughty in class, aren't you usually a goody goody two shoes' Naomi said. We turned onto the highway.
I gasped as if offended' No, I am a complete rebel...' CRASH!!!
The car rolls over continuously, and I am thrown thought the car like a ragdoll. I hear my mum screaming along with my sister. The car thumps to a rest upside down. I feel the blood rushing to my head as I feel disorientated. Naomi is lying next to me under the seat.
